Programming an Allen Bradley MicroLogix 1100 PLC using RSLogix, part 1

Programming an Allen-Bradley Micrologix 1100 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) using RSLogix MicroEnglish software for a conveyor motor and three lights, red, yellow, and green. A stop/start pushbutton station will control the conveyor start/stop and a limit switch, on the conveyor track, input to the PLC will stop the track for a five second pause and light a yellow light until the motor starts again and the green light is lit while moving the conveyor track. A red light will come on and the conveyor track will stop after the limit switch has shutdown the track for five times. The PLC and conveyor motor system is shown and then the program is developed in the computer to communicate with the PLC and demonstrated on an Allen-Bradley PLC trainer.
