Amazing that you found that gem all these years later, and even cooler that you are still in touch with your buddy who bought it all those years ago. I love when things work out like this!
I've been wanting a Kramer Paul Dean since they came out. Great example of one here! I was a just barely in high school when I saw Paul playing the yellow one on the Lovin' Every Minute of It tour. Always loved his tone.
I think you said Tuesday on that video. I will definitely check that one out 🤟🏻🤟🏻. Randy was one of my biggest influences to learn guitar. That one is going to be good as well. Keep it up buddy. People like me really enjoy these types of videos and we need to get your channel out there to them as well. 🫡
@@40gritguitars i am checking all teh kramer videos you have , you have severals , i am liking all of them . i like even the evh . i have two evh and a peavey 1997 wolfgang
Nice! The Larrivee electrics made through out the 80s have a direct DNA to the Kramer version. In fact Larrivee ghost built a bunch of Stagemasters before going to ESP. And a geeky side note, Odyssey Guitars Vancouver did the earliest versions of this guitar.
I have a Canadian made Larrivee Paul Dean prototype. They were going to make his signature guitar before Kramer did. It’s the exact same guitar down to everything as far as I can tell. I love it. Mine was said to be made in 1986. They said it was a prototype because there’s no serial number. Mine actually has a ebony fretboard. The pickups were changed out for the Doug Aldridge Suhr humbucker and two Michael Landau single coils.
I still have my original 1990 Kramer Nightswan Aztec, never gives me any issues, such a stable guitar. Probably needs new frets, it's been recrownd 3 Times already. Just not crazy about someone potentially screwing up the perfect fretboard on it lol
@40gritguitars I enjoy your channel!!! It's like a time capsule of a by gone era!!! I long for melodic Hard Rock/Metal to come back with a vegence!!!! LOL 😆 🤣 😂 You have a great day!!! Stay out of the heat 🥵 🔥 I know!!! I live in Glendale Arizona!!!!

Interesting! I didn’t know these were made in Canada.

Send me a pic. Email in bio.
I really liked the single hum-bucker version, but that’s a great looking guitar.
Me too! If I could find one I would snag it up quick.
Oh wow!!! You don't see them often, if I'm not wrong!
They’re not on very often…. And surely not in this condition!
Interesting guitar.
Thanks for watching!

That’s an ebony board, hard to mess that up and easy to fix. Thanks for watching!
Silly question was that neck cut by ESP? Truss rod cavity looks much the same
I was told these were made in Canada by a ghost builder. So I don’t think so?? If someone knows please comment.
And now Paul Dean plays a red Fender Strat with a Floyd Rose!!! 😊
I have not seen that cat play recently… I’ll have to look him up.

Oh cool man! You’re just a stones throw from me….
Do you have a Pacer custom II??? I still dream about mine...
No Pacer’s at the moment. They are awesome though. Thanks for watching!
Which way is better to intonate a Floyd, flat on the bench or in playing position?
Playing position!!!! I will address this tonight. Thanks for the question.
