No-Till is great, but you also have to plant cover crops in between your cash crop. The cover crops need to be selected for your concerns, such as radish that will help break that hard pan . A great resource is Gabe Brown and David Brandt on cover crops.
I know you are talking about pumpkins, but I wonder if could tell me what is causing the fruit to start having sticky stuff come out and then just fall off. ?????
6' rows - 2' between plants - an acre is 208.71' x 208.71'- 104 seeds per row and 35 rows- 35 x 104 = 3,640 seeds per row. that's pretty thick. maybe i should crowd my plants more. i hope he does a harvest video.
@@tracki7936 For orange pumpkin I really like "Benchmark. " It yields 35 to 40 per bin and has thick heavy strong handles with nice orange color and decent PM resistance. Holmes seeds Canton, OH.

You’re living the dream young man.

What type of pre-emergent do you use on pumpkins
@markkiel2668 use curbit and command together.
are rows labeled/staked for follow up?
Farmer Dre you're supposed to let the planter do the planting
Seed plates often crush pumpkin seed as they are too big.
i don't think the other guy was keeping up with dropping seeds
You know you can rework the fingers for the seed down to 3 and you won't have to ride the planter.
What plant population?

It must work but it just sounds like a dumb way to plant a field
