I can't believe Toby would disturb the peace...in the middle of literal...nowhere...with exactly one other living sole within ear shot...probably on a Wednesday. I simply can't believe it.
I always love seeing stories that explore continuations of railway series/tv series stories come out of the community and you haven’t failed to please Really shows just how well your writing and storytelling skills are, good job sir
This is a good gap story. It takes the fact that the constable was using the law on Thomas for his own selfish means and tried to do the same to Toby when he got scared again. I wouldn't be surprised if Sir Topham had made some enquiries with his lawyers since last time the way he handled the constable this time.
I remember a fan story where the Constable goes on a ticketing spree one Sunday Morning only to discover, to his horror, he'd ticketed the cars of SEVERAL highly influencial persons such as the Fat Controller, the Vicar and his own Sergeant which resulted in him being "transferred to Headquarters" which, in Policing Terms (At least for the UK) means your career is effectively deadended with all chances of promotion and transfer nipped in the bud, resulting in you remaining in the same rank and posting with the same pay until you either retire by law or are allowed to resign
@@flashstudiosguy Sounds like a good dose of Karma. I like the version Victor Tanzig did in which his career completely derailed after having an affair with the Mayor's wife. Of course that's a mature version in context at least and not advisable for kids to view.
@@flashstudiosguyI believe that was NWR Tales Season 4 Episode 15: The Ffarquhar Constable. Edit: And Victor Tanzig’s version was Stories of Sodor Season 1 Episode 2: Legality.
I saw your last name and was in fear of the quality of this story, but this was honestly such a great story and would fit very well not only in the Classic series, but the Railway Series as well!
Loved this! I love when you guys do these in between stories where they're taken place during the events of the actual episodes that aren't shown in the episodes. (Sorry if that was a horrible way of explaining lol My brain is very fried from work right now) You have got such great narrating skills! Looking forward to more!
This was good story. I honestly thought this would be a rewritten version of "The Ring of a Bell" by TheBuriedTruck, but seems like i was wrong. I quite like this episode. Great job on the writing, the adapting and all the other stuff. I can't wait to see more content from this channel.
Toby made the silly cars behave even better than Thomas did, so well that it made Thomas jealous. But I mustn't tell you anymore, or I shall spoil the next story. The next story: This has filled the gap very nicely I think! Well done!
Just because one’s a cop, doesn’t mean they have the right to treat others around them poorly. Especially when people are doing their best to follow the rules
The narrator should have said "Thomas's ban from going to the quarry was lifted by the new constable and Sir Topham Hatt so Thomas was allowed to take trucks/Freight cars to and from the quarry again".
Well done. I wish that had existed sooner where Wilbert Awdry would have wrote that one and then Britt Allcroft would have adapted this story at Season 1 where Ringo Starr would have narrated that one. I have an idea for this Halloween since it is coming up: you could adapt The Jolly Mariner's "Percy's Poltergeist" (th-cam.com/video/dSx0MWu_YB0/w-d-xo.html) using the link's very Joe Gibbons' narration and sound effects, with both permissions, to make it Season 2 material and release it this Halloween entitled: "Percy's Poltergeist (UK) | Written by The Jolly Mariner | Guest-Narrated by Joe Gibbons". If you could let all of this become a reality in time for Halloween, that will be great.
A great fill in the blank for Thomas Breaks the Rules. A lot can be pulled from just one throw away line in the episode.
Another quality "in-between" story! The constable got what was comin' to him!
I remembered in the RWS where Toby just disturbed the cop on purpose and then shouted “F*ck the police” true passive aggression.
Yeah, a lot of parents didn't like it...
Screw them, it was funny
@@FalconGT3I remember George Carlin’s line about exactly like this.
That ain't no sleeping constable! 2:55 - 3:06
A fine way to show how Toby and Thomas started their friendship, nonetheless. 👍

This is a nice take on your interpretation on how Toby dealt with the constable. Unattentionly here that is. Well done!

Nice sequel to Thomas Breaks The Rules
Keep it up The Miller Station
Great Story About Thomas, Toby and The Constable You Made There
Love seeing your original stories, they really capture the classic Thomas vibe while also giving the audience something fresh and exciting to watch.
Now if only Murdoch wouldnt make a fuss over noise...
You know come to think of it, I bet this was Murdoch’s life before he got transformed into a steam engine.

This would definitely be another lost episode of Season 1!
At first Thomas was jealous, but he was so pleased when Toby rang his bell and frightened the policeman, they had been good friends ever since

Personally like this version of Toby best, the cool old gent who isn't phased by too much of anything as he's been around the block and then some.
You can tell the vhs style here in terms of the picture quality.
I almost thought the constable would would talk back at the Fat Controller for standing up to a policeman.

I believe this is another better take on something like this than NWR1991's episode "The Law is the Law". That episode which I really hate.
Nice video looks like something they would and should've made. Funny too tomorrow marks 1 year since your video STOP THIEF!
Man took a single line in a book and made a whole story of it
If constable was sleeping when Toby passed by, doesn't that mean said constable was sleeping on the job?
Yes
Something his Senior Officers would be VERY interested to hear about, as it's officially regarded as "Neglect of Duty" and is a dismissable offence
Positive comment

I think some guy ripped the audio from this video and then laced text to speech voices over it for their own video.
Are any of your stories free to adapt ? Not going to do one myself just asking
Since when did TFC have more authority than a cop?
He doesn't.
Another fan made Thomas video that has Henrietta in a video but does not speak
Thomas misunderstands story and has mistake story
