You honestly had a very nice makeup look. Mine was a bit rough lol. I thinned out my eyebrows, wore dark brown lip liners with a mauve/nude lip, pale powder foundation, black pencil eyeliner on top and bottom, brown mascara (sometimes blue- thought it was cool hahaha), smokey cool tone eyeshadow in my crease, and plastic chokers. Christen, I did almost the exact same things as you did. No wing liner, blackest of black liner and mascara. I wouldnt put any foundation on because I didn't know who to do that and make it stay on my face for the entire day. I was real self-conscious about what I wore on my face. Sometimes I would do face powder but like a small amount. Oh yeah! At one time I had these Turquoise contacts that I would wear because I hated my eyes. Today I'm in my 4th year of college and you have helped me so much with figuring out how to apply foundation, concealer and all that jazz in the correct way. Thanks for the tutorials😊. I got kind of emotional watching this video because I'm a senior in high school & I've been watching makeup videos for.. Probably 9 years now, about when I was around 8 or 9. Obviously then I didn't wear any, but I just knew I liked watching the videos. I had a passion for it even younger than that. When I was 2-3, I would play in my mom's makeup, just like any girl. And I have to say, looking back on the pictures, it looked damn good for a 3 year old 😂😂😂 I've loved makeup since the day I found out what it was & when you were describing the way you used to stay in the makeup isle foreverrrr... That's me. I'll go to Walmart for something & just get sucked into the makeup isle. I got emotional because I strive to be a successful makeup artist, and I want my own channel so so so bad but I know I'll get shit for it in school. I'll start one in college hopefully. I watched a lot of these makeup in high school video and yours is definitely one of the better ones makeup wise! I actually like the gold and pink together. Back then I hadn't really learned how to do eyeshadow for my eye shape, so I'd just take a frosty cream shadow, swipe it on my lids, and be frustrated that it wasn't visible when my eyes were open. So I'd just apply it in basically a bigger circle on my eyes until I had these reverse panda eye look going on lol

I swear by the colorstay for combo/ oily skin. It is amazing! It is the only foundation that keeps me matte all day and night, even more so than my Estee Lauder Double wear.
i can totally relate to the contacts think 😂 i can't see anything without my glasses and that's exactly what helps me when i'm playing the violin in front of literally anybody or just even while talking in class sometimes i will purposely tilt my glasses out of focus so i can't see properly
I did the same thing in high school, only I didn't wear my glasses so I couldn't see anyone. I was so nervous all the time I just wanted to disappear, and my vision being blurry all the time helped me with that. I feel so much more comfortable now :)

i can totally relate to the contacts think 😂 i can't see anything without my glasses and that's exactly what helps me when i'm playing the violin in front of literally anybody or just even while talking in class sometimes i will purposely tilt my glasses out of focus so i can't see properly

I did the same thing in high school, only I didn't wear my glasses so I couldn't see anyone. I was so nervous all the time I just wanted to disappear, and my vision being blurry all the time helped me with that. I feel so much more comfortable now :)

i used to do my eyebrows with a black eye pencil 'cus my eyebrow hairs are black😂💔 and i used to put MUCH blush on & i don't even know why🚶

Oh my god, I thought I was the only one who wore a black cloth choker like that 😂😂😂 sometimes I even used shoelaces! And I also remember that exact Mary Kay pallet.. I still have it buried away somewhere. This was an awesome blast to the past 👍
