Gotta get rid of all the dam crime first.
violent crimes been going down every year since 2008 in the city, 2020 was the only time it went up. St. Louis has a media problem, crime in St. Louis is expressed more than it exists. Although I am always for the further decrease of crime! However we have a beautiful city and I highly recommend you go out and enjoy yourself instead of living in fear. If anythign this will help further reduce crime.
So your plan would be to FIRST 1.) get rid of all crime in the area before allowing anyone to invest a dollar in development. 2.)Then while keeping crime at 0%, find developers for some type of project after that has happened. 3.) Attract people back to the city. Great. Please reply with one location on earth that has done this.
How about develop stuff that is interesting and attractive... waiting for it to bottom out in ANY US CITY is an impossible and unneccsary dream. Where are you visiting, even as a tourist, that doesnt have any crime before building something new?
That’s what I’m talking about! Finally a step towards the right direction.
I hope so, st. Louis has a tremendous amount of historical value.
Nobody wants to come downtown, if the businesses were doing ok why are 100 year companies leaving. Your making a crime station, good luck
That’s why no one goes downtown because there’s nothing there but our sports team. Building and replacing vacant buildings with shops, restaurants, bars and other attractions brings people into the city. The reason why companies are leaving is because there is no one downtown utilizing their office spaces. Also it doesn’t matter what city you’re in there is always going to be crime. Stop acting as if St Louis is the only city with a crime problem. When a city improves or adds to a community crime usually depletes.
Save our NEIGHBORHOODS ,
FIRST , THEY HAVE BEEN TRYING TO MAKE DOWNTOWN OVER FOR 60 YEARS PLUS , NEIGHBOHOODS FIRST !!!!!!!!!!!!
