I love Glitchtale but Underverse is on a whole other level animation wise, new episode coming out very soon too so this is exciting!

@@user-dg9hq8uz3g Yea I just like the story in underverse, glitchtale seems like they didn't have a good plan for how they wanted to end the story and they left too many holes in the plot... at least underverse fills them from time to time.
@@SprayInk-And-CritGlitch glitchtale has plot holes the size of a moon. I'm not saying underverse doesn't have plot holes, but they are much smaller, and the series isn't even finished yet, so maybe they will be explained.
The thing about Undertale is despite the fact that it wasn't originally voice acted, we have a pretty good idea of what each character (at least the main ones) sounds like because of the text sounds that plays whenever they have dialougue. Probably one of my favorite parts of this series (aside from the multiverse shenanigans, of course) is the fact that they gave each version of sans a slightly different text sound to differentiate them that much more
We also know that Sans’ voice (text sound thingy?) is Patrick from Spongebob Squarepants.. 🤣
I haven't seen it yet, but I'm going to tell you right now, DON'T READ THE TEXT OUT LOUD. you'll just end up missing important dialogue.
So far you're doing pretty well with reading the dialogue, but make sure to go back if you miss any dialogue.
UnderVerse... Believe me, until I watched it I thought GlitchTale was better. The story, the sheer number of characters and their interactions and the animation is just so good. Pretty sure you'll enjoy this series more than GlitchTale... Though there isn't as much fan content about it as GlitchTale, sadly...

I'm gonna real quickly warn you on when to watch every single episode and what order to do it.
because I can't stress enough how important it is cause Underverse relies alot more in plot than glitchtale.
Season 1 (The beggining (BTW the xtale movie does not cover the Xtra scenes so make sure to watch them in the gaps if you do happen to watch the movie))

Season 1.5 (I guess)
Xtale I, Xtale II, Xtale III, Xtale III, Xtale IV, Xtale V, Xtale VI, Xtale VII, Xtale VIII, Xtale IX, Xtale X
Now this is very optional but this will clear things up but if you really want to know everything. Xtale was originally a comic book Jakei made. The comic covers Xtale X in much more detail and its actually amazing. If you want to read it on your own or here it doesn't matter. I suggest you do a reaction to it though as 85% of people who watched Underverse do not know about the comic.
Also the comic does give extra lore and info that aren't in the Xtale X video. (And a new fight Scene.)
Season 2 (Ongoing ig)
Prologue - Owners, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7 Part 1, 0.7 part 2 (BTW at the time I'm writing this, Xtale 0.7 part 2 is not out yet. It should be out within the month which we are all excited for.

As one who spent a year marinating in the Undertale fandom and has a weirdly good memory... Oh, man, Airier are you in for a RIDE.... Also Ink and Error are probably best considered to be the Eldritch horrors of the Undertale multiverse. That's the role they effectively fill, so don't think of them as being on a specific 'side' in any conflict because they aren't. At this point...they just exist and perform their functions to create new AUs and destroy all AUs respectively. They are also both fundamentally selfish individuals. So keep that in mind about their characters as Underverse's story unfolds. It might help make sense of what is even happening later on.
The accuracy for every character featured, the intro to aus for newcomers, the fight scenes and animations, the soundtrack. The books, comic, etc. Everything about this is great. Kiwi frisk best au character though, Chara from Chara vs Buddy series a close second though.

Also, I think the yellow "*determination" was because, in the game, when you select an option it turns yellow. Except for one...thing...you will see later, the "ingame-lore mechanics" (I don't know what to call them) are the same as in Undertale. There is nothing like Hate or Fear, or glitched timelines, etc. It's pretty simple in that way; the confusing things come from the abilities and stories from different Au's. But still, don't you worry, I believe this is easier to understand and keep up with than GT. If anything, we will be here to clarify whatever is needed :3 I know this Au's like the back of my hand from something I'm working on that requiered *a lot* of investigation of them and more. Except for Core!Frisk, I still have no idea what that is about ;-;

(Updated)C!Nightmare: The corrupted version of nightmare who leads the bad sanses, Isnt dreams brother anymore but also is in a way, but the fandom likes to imagine that past Nightmare is the same as Corrupted!Nightmare, Formerly Guardian of Negativity, Now King of Negativity
Killer Sans: Part of the bad sanses, pretty self explainatory, fusion of Chara and Sans, is an AT(Alternate Timeline)
Core Frisk: Founder of the omega timeline, Good friends with dream and fresh sans, Is Omnipresent, meaning they exist everywhere at once
Fresh Sans: A parasite that jumps from host to host, Mainly skeletons as they are easier to for him to take over
Geno: An AT of Classic sans who got trapped in the savescreen, wont explain much to avoid spoilers for Aftertale
Omega Timeline: A timeline that is a refugee for those who lost their au, founded by core frisk, It is accessed through different doors that act as portals to aus
Star Sanses: A group of sanses that fights to protect the multiverse, made up of Ink sans , Swap Sans , And Dream sans, however was disbanded due to Dream's and Ink's differences in ideals, Dream wanting to help the aus and their residents, and Ink only wanting to protect the aus themselve and not the peoples inside of them
Bad Sanses: A group of evil sanses led by nightmare, made up of Killer!Sans, Murder/Dust!Sans, Horror!Sans, and sometimes Error!Sans or Fell!Sans depending on the AU (Only Killer is confirmed to work for nightmare, but this group is used nontheless, and nightmare and dreams creator doesnt mind them being depicted together)
Ps: Chara is the one with rosy cheeks, light brown hair, and a green and yellow striped shirt, and wears the heart pendent, Frisk has a blue and purple sweater with two stripes, and their eyes are closed most of the time

@@Airier There is a comment with the user name @D.Z.Shafty, and they explain in what order these animations go together. I hope you give them a read. The captions also help with winding translations, so I hope you have them for future reactions. Oh, I forgot to mention there are moments when you can see a glimpse of a character silhouette if you notice them fast enough but have to pause the frame to see them.

My excitement for this is immeasurable
These first few episodes are not as hype, but as time goes on I think you will find this series far superior to Glitchtale in terms of plot and character development.
Also in animation, Glitchtale focuses a bit on single really well done shots, while Underverse is consistent across the board in its style to prioritize fluidity. Both are great in their own ways, but I definitely like Underverse more.
Also, as someone else said, I REALLY recommend watching XTale after youre done with season 1 (about 0.4 I think), because otherwise youre gonna be kind of confused. And also, the series gets so much more richer when you actually know what the characters are referencing and their history.
This is the end game for Undertale animations / series, that's how I think of it anyway. Best story, music, and animation! Full of Lore and things you won't know, hopefully the comments will always correctly answer your questions.
Because I don't expect you to go on an absolute marathon of Undertale and community AU lore.

I'm so glad you're covering this, I may sadly be less informative here then with Glitchtale because I haven't actually watched this, I did try to get into this once before but I had a lot less knowledge of the Fandoms at the time and struggled to find a complete playlist, so this will be my first time watching this all the way from beginning to present. Can't wait to finally watch this and help others understand this to the best of my capabilities.

18:31 While red is the color of the determination soul (at least according to the majority of the community and me before going down a theory rabbit hole), yellow is apparently more related to determination, being linked to saving the game, the save points themselves, loading a save, and really all things determination related (this does not mean that everything yellow is determination related though, the yellow soul color is definitely justice). Long story short this is ripped from entry 5 in the True Lab and is likely just linked to saving and loading and for all intents and purposes the red soul is still determination.

10:06 I'm not 100% sure that this is an anti-void but I believe you are talking about the anti-void. From what I've seen there is ether just The Anti-void which is where Error lives or an anti-void that is left behind from a no longer existing world, with error living in his own Anti-void.

My God! It's always a pleasure to see more people discovering and reacting to Underverse. I've been following this series since almost the beginning!
Btw, about the 0.0 animation, Jakei actually started Underverse in 2016; however, she re-uploaded the first episodes in 2018 to add the fantastic intro you just saw, fix some animation errors or inconsistencies related to the story and add the soundtrack (at first she used to use free sound effects and part of Undertale's OST).
With each episode you'll see her improvement over the years, I am so excited to see your impressions of the animation and the story

I got to know Underverse because of Glitchtale, and honestly, I felt a growing attachment to Underverse, since the quality and style of the narrative grew as the chapters went by. Honestly, I no longer follow Glitchtale because it’s very cliche marie sue, but Underverse, It will leave an experience in which you will want more and more, it’s a story worth following💖

Hey Airier really happy to see you checking this out! but I gotta say once you're done with Underverse you should really check out Inverted Fate, it's honestly really worth the time, and it's one of the best Undertale AU's I've ever seen.
Remind me of this when I get closer to the end of underverse. I definitely will forget before then (because I have a memory that is only enviable by goldfish 😅).

red determination isn't a thing in the original game that's more of a fandom thing every time determination is brought up it's in yellow text or in the yellow save point. the only time that determination is red is when chara is saying "determination" in the geno route, but red text is always used in-game as a way to denote emotion not dt

I highly recommend watching Season 1 of Underverse(0.0-0.4) then X!tale, then Season 2.
Oooohhh this is gonna be a ride.
I suggest you to stay at the end of the credits of each episode, usually there's a little in credit scene. And as for the determination aspect goes, it's yellow bc this is more faithful to the game, for example and in the game, when you save the file its says "determination" with yellow texts, also in other little details, like when sans dissapears there was the text "shortcut" that that's usually what he says before teleporting or the use of the yellow and blue glowing canon sans eye, that's how it appears in the game and not entirely blue with a flame. I think you missed the frames at the start where the ""human sans""" is talking to the original, you can see him glitching back and forth his two forms, there are some little details in the animation that make it richier, and prevent them from being just static images, like when Error appears, you can see the "Error" messages moving

Ok so I just rewatched Underverse and XTale and then THIS comes out.
What timing !
Honestly, when I first watched I couldn’t get into it. But the second I started focusing less on what the AUs were as fandom stories, and rather what the meta concepts of authors/gods, characters/creations, AUs vs canon divergence fan fiction, etc., it really became such an interesting story about the nature of writing as a whole. Totally fits what UT is, taking meta concepts and mechanics and turning it into a story, and characters who are morally nuanced.
Only problem imo is the writing of the dialogue. They needed a native English speaker to iron out grammar problems and make the dialogue seem more natural. Other than that, it’s pretty amazing.
They actually corrected dialogue errors in underverse season 1 the movie. As well as some minor inconstensys.

Hey! Just wanted to recommend watching Underverse Season 1 the movie instead of the individual episodes. The movie fixes some typos and it includes all of the Xtra scenes along with the main episodes so you won't miss anything. There are also timestamps in the video so its easy to get back to wherever you last stopped watching. Same with XTale the movie. (If you stick with the individual episodes it's not actually a HUGE deal but I still wanted to recommend the movie version.)
