over here looking for a beginners guide, seemed like a good video until this guy started throwing out locker combinations.. now i'm trying to figure out wtf is 1-2-2-forward- 3-3 + 1 + 3 like wtf
You need a video explaining the absolute basics, not a character specific guide. I have those too. But for now, you need to know that the numbers refer to which buttons to press. 1 = square/X 2 = triangle/Y 3 = X/A 4 = circle/B So if I say, 122, and I'm playing on Playstation, that means I need to press square, triangle, triangle. Capisce?
@@BootySweat4491 appreciate the reply lol. But the comment was made more of a joke 😂 yes, I was confused about the numbers but luckily I was smart enough to just watch your button pressing on the left side screen 🤌🏽

hey bro i just got the game literally 5 mins ago and i’m just gunna main noob bc i think he looks cool but i was wondering if u could explain what all the letters and numbers mean in those combos at the end ? thx for the video either way have a great weekend bro
Yea for sure. So the numbers just refer to what button to press. I’ll list them below for Playstation/Xbox since I don’t know what you have. 1 = square/X 2 = triangle/Y 3 = X/A 4 = circle/B The letters stand for down, forward, back, jump, etc.
I'm new to mortal kombat and can't seem to string off of the amplified Tele slam. Is there a certain timing I'm missing? Noob just kind of freezes and doesn't do anything.
Do you have the move equipped? If not then you can’t combo after. If you do, then you might need to slightly delay your second string a bit. You might still be in recovery frames while you’re trying to continue the combo. Let me know if any of that helps!
idk if you’re talking about this one but just press down up really fast while spamming the right bumper. i never time my amplified moves i just spam the bumper
Not sure. It will depend on your key bindings which I’m not familiar with. However you can tell by the names of the moves. For example: 1 is front punch 2 is back punch 3 is front kick 4 is back kick
Not worth it imo. You need meter to make slide safe, so I don't prefer to use all of my meter for an extra 5 percent or whatever unless it's to guarantee a kill.
@@donniewalters00 42 for one bar is absolutely amazing. But with two bars you’re not getting a full 50, so as he said- is it worth it? No. Off of a KB maybe because you can cash out pretty good. But outside of Kb you’re spending meter uselessly.
Depends on the console. 1 is front punch, 2 is back punch, 3 is front kick, and 4 is back kick. On PlayStation and Xbox respectively: 1 - square/X 2 - triangle/Y 3 - X/A 4 - circle/B
You mean your Fatal Blow? If so, you must be at 30% health or lower, and simply plus the two triggers (L+R on Xbox, or L2+R2 on PS). Keep in mind that using it raw isn't always the best option, and it's better suited for big combos instead. If I misunderstood your question let me know and I will try and help as best I can.
@@BootySweat4491 yeahhhhh I figured that out but the timing is so hard😭 and when I do the back+3, 1+3 I can do it perfectly almost every time🤣. it’s literally the same exact thing like…..
Hitting your opponent while they are in recovery frames. So say they miss you with an attack (or "whiff"), then you hit them before they can move due to their recovery animation, that is a "whiff punish." Likewise, if you block an unsafe move that lets you attack them before their recovery animation is completed, that is also a punish.
