Dear charming Phil, thanks for bringing years of wonderful programs on archaeology to the viewing public. Just because we have become seniors doesn’t mean it’s time for the rocking chair. You’re a great example of young at ♥️
Phil is quite a character! Always my favorite on Time Team! Always something funny to say!!! Hope you live a long more healthy years!!!! Gratings from Germany! Frank S.
Looks like a place to put on the bucket list along with others in Belgium. I love how phil brings archeology to life with the passion he has when he talks about it
Great to see Phil in his lecture hat! My interest in Waterloo intersecting with archeologist Phil Harding is fantastic.I can't get enough of this dig.Thank you Wessex Archeology.
I think I could listen to Phil lecture about his lunch. I HAVE heard him talk about beer. I had a sudden yearning to visit Britain just to buy him a beer.
Have always loved your work Phil....from the early, days of time team, until the present. Stay safe, keep on delivering interesting information with passion...you are a legend.
Hi from the states! I’m so glad, Phil, that I can benefit from your vast knowledge of an important historical event. Keep filming, & I’ll keep on a watching. Love the hat.
Thanks Phil for entertaining and informing us for all these years ! Watching Time Team during this Covid19 pandemic has helped reduce some the stress from the pandemic. I like the new hat ! Take care of yourself ! Thank you !
An interesting fact about the battle for the North Gate of Hougoumont. The 1ere Legere who stormed this gate (it had in fact been left open) were one of the few French Regiments who refused to sign the new French constitution confirming Napoleon as Emperor over the French. Their Colonel was opposed to it but died at Waterloo during the assault.
Thank you Phil, as always great enthusiasm. However this appears to be an identical video to that posted a week or more back. Have I been in lock-down too long?
I would watch Phil doing and speaking on anything. I miss him on the new Time Team, without him and Tony and Mick RIP it’s just not the same. I love seeing Helen and Matt , Stewart and John . But Phil please come back we miss and love you
If some modern degenerate tried to tear down that statue of Sharpie he would take a time warp leap out of the barn loft door and lay out some real havoc.

My first thought when I saw him with his bicycle was to wonder how long it took him to knap that.
