    Hey man, I'm getting this kit for my birthday in a few months and have TH-cam watched heaps of videos about it and came across your channel.
    I've watched about 20 of the covers and plan on watching the rest,
    Enjoyable and interesting to watch.
    Keep it up 👍👍

    Do you know which has better recording quality, sd card or straight to pc via usb recording using DAW? Or will they have the same quality? Cheers

      To be honest I don't know as I always recorded with the SD card, my guess is that it will make no difference in terms of quality

    Which pad did you use the splitters?

    • @migodrums957
      @migodrums957  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I split the Tom Toms head and rim to connect the splash and the pads on my left (which you can't see here)

    Dude, i wanna ask somethin..have u ever tried to use DTX Cymbal pad or to pad to TD17 module?

    • @migodrums957
      @migodrums957  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, no I haven't... So not sure 100% that it would work...

      @@migodrums957 aaahh i see, im just confusing for my ride cymbal..i still using cy8 for the ride which has only 2 zones..in my country, it's to hard to find cy13r..so maybe i just want to use yamaha pcy135 for the ride, using attachment cable from 2 cable in to 1 cable input..but i don't really sure that it will work..i've tried to search it from google but nothing

      Jan Andreas I think they work with roland. Not 100% sure but I read somewhere that they should work with roland modules.

    You can do rim knocks with the TD17-KVX?! That is awesome! Did you have to change any settings, or is a rim knock enabled by default?
    Also, GREAT cover you did such a solid job!

      Thanks a lot man!!! 😊 Yes you have a variety of rim sounds that you can select on the module, just make sure that when you go on "assign" and you hit the snare you take off the flag on the box "H&R" so you can manage the sounds of head and rim separately!

    Nice man! Sounds smooth, what program do you use to record on? I currently use a usb cable direct and standard video record, I can’t get mine sounding this good.

      Thanks man! I actually use Windows Movie Maker, first recording the track on the module and then saving it on a SD card which I then put in the computer. I use drumless tracks from TH-cam so I can manage the levels better, do you play over normal tracks instead? Maybe that is the reason of the different sound
