I just love the Sean Payton/Brees Saints, 2006 to the present. Especially 2012 to present where I have 4-5 great condensed games from each season watching the offense evolve around a chessboard using special pieces like Jimmy Graham, or Bigger Blocking Tackle breaking Tight Ends. Brandin Cooks, Mark Ingram, Darren Sproles, to the present with Micheal Thomas, Alvin Kamara,
2006-2011 I have some of their greatest games, like 2009 NFC Championship that's also on TH-cam. But they require more time sacrifice being uncondensed.
2011 Season was the season that ended with the insane Divisional Round Playoff against the 49ers. Great game, with the greatest final 5 minutes in postseason history. 4 TDs. 4 lead changes.
This was the one team that truly tested my team’s defense that year: we had them down 17-0 in the first half with the help of multiple turnovers on defensive and special teams, and yet they kept scoring points in bunches like it was nothing.
Fortunately, their leaky defense also gave us a chance to win at the end.
The 2011 Saints were one of the greatest offenses in NFL History, led by Drew Brees having - most likely - the greatest single-season performance of his career. It was a fucking machine. Drew was like an amazing painter; he was making art more than playing football.
Totally Agree. 547 points; their best season. Brees is not quite an artist... the real art of the Saints is and remained Payton's designs. Payton was the Composer, the Beethoven. Brees was the first string violinist, mechanically in rhythm executing, like perfectly. Not improvising, just playing the notes to perfection. Improv is overrated.
Every step Brees takes into the pocket, is sync'd up to the WRs and the Many TEs. Especially 06-09 there were so many TEs; to trick Defenses into defending power run; esp Mark Ingram from '11. I loved Ingram in this offense. I love this offense. I don't care where the Saints seasons ended from 2006-2019; I just love watching great football. And THAT, the Saints provided. Check out this playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLbGLzzomCfA5npQeb0jTnkevd_2UmV-FA.html if the Saints were in a thrilling game 2012-2016; its here. Check out the 2015 Giants game for a real clinic.
Nope 2011 niners were better
@@chrisrenshaw6291 They won the postseason game in the last second, but the 2011 Saints scored 547 points and the 49ers scored 380. And if you came here to be a troll to the Saints fans that are here to enjoy this video, Well, My Giants crushed your shitty ass 2011 49ers team the very next game! So you suck. Ravens beat your ass in 2012. NYG Crushed you in 1986 and 1990 Postseason too. You have one postseason win vs Giants in 2002; which you promptly turned to nothing. 5 Superbowls? Giants have 8 NFL championships. You suck. Not just your team, but As a human being; you came here to try to make people mad, you have no life.
@@chrisrenshaw6291nope 😂😂😂
God damn that was some good times..
I built an archive of Sean Payton Drew Brees Saints games; Many of them are on TH-cam from 2008 (#1 Offense of that season, 8-8 due to defense). Get firefox and savefromnet and download the epic Saints games. I'm a freak, I'll watch 2011 Texans Saints on a July morning.
2011 Saints are the only team to really demolish my 2011 Giants; it was a massacre; hung 49 points. Luckily for me, the Niners won that Div round and were an easier matchup. The Giants nearly beat them in week 10. The 2011 Patriots were a total paper tiger so the Saints would have won that Superbowl.
Malcolm was a leader
On the Eagles too.
madden around this time was elite..
Facts. Madden 12 was the "great" madden game. The last "decent" madden game was 15
Shame we had no business not being in superbowl 2012
The 2011 Saints blew the doors off NYG. The other big dogs, 49ers and Pack were narrow losses to 2011 NYG reg season. Not the Saints, that game was over 2nd quarter, why as a NYG fan I felt skeptical going into January. Sweeping Dallas already made the season a success. But 9-7? Also swept by 4-12 Redskins, that really made me a skeptic. Those wins cost Wash 3 first round picks to get RG3 2012!
Favorite video on TH-cam
Love all these yearbooks at would love to see many more.
This one still hurts
Jimmy should’ve fell at the 1 yard line 🤦🏾♂️
This Saints team was breaking all kinds of NFL individual and team records Brees most passing yds in a season and highest comp% in a season Jimmy Graham most Rec Yds and TD catches by a TE in one season until Gronk broke those same records later in the same day Darren Sproles most all purpose yards by one player in a season most total offensive yards in a season by a team this offense doesn’t get mentioned enough when people talk about the greatest offenses of all time but in my opinion they were easily top 5 of all time
