You know that old adage never judge a book by its cover.That truly applies when it comes to this dude.We really need as human beings to stop judging people by how they Look, you don't know what that person's story is when you find a homeless person or you see them in rags instead of judging them, offer them a meal or a nice pair of clothing if they got nasty shoes on, go to the store and buy them a pair of sneakerat walmart , ask him what size? Their foot, is it cost very little to be kind to another human being? In in our society, we have lost that in so many, many ways in our present climate. In our country, we really have lost it. Stop and think about all your struggles and how you wish someone would come up to you and gave you a hug or told you that they would help you in some way shape or fashion. I am doing the same with my art. I never had money to pay for all the hidden cost to enter a show. Even to frame some paintings, pay for a booth fee, but they want more to enter, to belong to a Guild Fee. Many art galleries think Realism in art is NOTHHING more than copy work , but they accept a painting of a sink full of dirty dishes. A man did paintings of cattle in a freezer hanging by hooks, he got RAVE reviews, but to paint wildlife it is considered illustration. Realism starts out like an abstract. Knowing anatomy, helps, besides color. I live below poverty level. Starving art shows use to be REAL actual starving artist. Now it is mass of same style.
Yeah, if I didn't have my senior's pension, I'd starve on the street. But people seem to like my art, and I feel like I'm making a contribution by connecting people with the wonderful creatures that live on this planet - for now, anyway. I feel like if I encourage one person to act to save the environment, my work is done. But I will NEVER stop creating art. I think you're much the same. My mother once fell badly and hurt her hip. We lived in Perú, a scruffy man with the most amazing blue eyes came from nowhere and lifted her onto a bench and said he would call a taxi to the hospital. I tended to her and turned to thank the kind man but he was nowhere to be seen. He had vanished and there was nowhere he could have gone in a second. Nobody had seen this man except us. He was an Angel that’s the only explanation, so don’t judge or refuse help from someone who looks dishevelled but be on your guard also, God is good. Amen.
Those who have had the worst of time create the best songs. Music is found in the darkest reaches and brings us to the light. Those with torn clothes, an empty stomach, and sad eyes will blow you away with their guitar and a story. It only takes one person to give kindness freely to see someone else's dream come true. Die in Europa mag ich nicht mehr. I know it's just a show here, but 50 years ago I was travelling around Europe with just a sleeping bag and a bag and I met such talented people. It was the time of the hippies and many people ran around the world with their hearts open. Hitchhiking was possible. I have been living in Asia for 25 years. The world has changed. I don't like the people in Europe anymore.
Homeless people aren't homeless because because they DON'T have skills or talent. He could have been in a band for years... Hard times come on all kinds of people. They could have been a music teacher in a school system. Who knows?

You know that old adage never judge a book by its cover.That truly applies when it comes to this dude.We really need as human beings to stop judging people by how they Look, you don't know what that person's story is when you find a homeless person or you see them in rags instead of judging them, offer them a meal or a nice pair of clothing if they got nasty shoes on, go to the store and buy them a pair of sneakerat walmart , ask him what size? Their foot, is it cost very little to be kind to another human being? In in our society, we have lost that in so many, many ways in our present climate. In our country, we really have lost it. I am doing the same with my art. I never had money to pay for all the hidden cost to enter a show. Even to frame some paintings, pay for a booth fee, but they want more to enter, to belong to a Guild Fee. Many art galleries think Realism in art is NOTHHING more than copy work , but they accept a painting of a sink full of dirty dishes. A man did paintings of cattle in a freezer hanging by hooks, he got RAVE reviews, but to paint wildlife it is considered illustration. Realism starts out like an abstract. Knowing anatomy, helps, besides color. I live below poverty level. Starving art shows use to be REAL actual starving artist. Now it is mass of same style.
Yeah, if I didn't have my senior's pension, I'd starve on the street. But people seem to like my art, and I feel like I'm making a contribution by connecting people with the wonderful creatures that live on this planet - for now, anyway. My mother once fell badly and hurt her hip. We lived in Perú, a scruffy man with the most amazing blue eyes came from nowhere and lifted her onto a bench and said he would call a taxi to the hospital. I tended to her and turned to thank the kind man but he was nowhere to be seen. He had vanished and there was nowhere he could have gone in a second. Nobody had seen this man except us. He was an Angel that’s the only explanation, so don’t judge or refuse help from someone who looks dishevelled but be on your guard also, God is good. Amen.
