First of all i started watching your videos and have learned a lot and got lot of counter answers to be an agnostic athiest.
Can you please touch a topic about people saying that it's ok you are an theist can you explain from where did you learn all of the moral values hope you understand what I am trying to say and explain me this so that i can counter my theist friends and relatives.. I am basically agnostic athiest but i do lack giving counter answer sometimes, it is normal right. Because I feel I don't have knowledge regarding something I will not counter just because I believe in it

QM was arguing for Leibnizian contingency argument...
He was right about saying that infinite chains can demand an explanation outside of them ...
For example a chain
a1 a2 a3....a OO is one chain
But we can conceive of another chain
b1 b2 b3 ..... b OO
Conceivablity implies possibility which means that anything that we can conceive of is rationally possible and what is possible is not necessary...
Now there are 2 / 3 ways to deal witn such arguments
First is to reject the PSR
Which is that everything that exists has an explanation for why is it the way it is...
We can adopt a weaker principle which is like that Every non initial thing has an explanation for why it is the way it is ...
The second way is tk accept that there's a naturalistic necessary being which is the initial singularity / state of the universe...
This way the argument will now be about Stage 2 which is proving that necessary thing = God ( proving attributes )
Third way could be Hume edwards principle which says that once we explain all members of a chain then we would have also explained why chain as a whole exists...
Reductio Malayalam have been doing great work in this area of philosophical atheism

1.) A perfect independent God has to be Omnipotent and Omniscient but both these terms are logically inconsistent and contradictory. So, any being can't be perfect which implies there is no such being completely independent.
2.) If there is a totality or set of some elements which satisfy a particular property does not necessarily imply that that set will also have that property. we don't even know whether that property is even defined for it or not. Saying that a set of real numbers must also be a real number is meaningless. Set is just a collection of well defined objects. Also property of elements need not to be property of bulk.
3.) Whether cosmological argument or contingency argument they both are based on some theories or laws which they assume to be always true even at the point of singularity when big bang was happening which is not true. The space time curvature at the point of singularity is infinity and we don't know anything about the nature of infinity. All the laws whether it's law of casuality or any philosophical rule, it can't be used to predict anything before singularity or in the singularity. Whatever conclusions you are making about the universe from no matter what premise it need not to be true.

@@AtheismLeadsToIrrationality There is a very famous paradox for omnipotency that if God can do everything than he can create a rock so heavy that nobody can lift it and if God lifts it then he can't create a rock which is unliftable. In either case property of omnipotency doesn't hold.
If God is omniscient it implies he knows everything whether it's past or present or future but it means that god can't change his mind (which again proves he is not omnipotent) because if he does change his mind it means he failed to predict his own choices which means he can't be omniscient ie all Knowing.
@@AtheismLeadsToIrrationality I m not only talking about scientific limitations. You are using god to explain the existence of universe. Which implies you are assuming whole universe as a contingent thing. Now there are two problems with this assumption according to me-
1.) Contingent of universe depends upon the contingent of it's elements. How can you say that all the things in this universe ( both observed and non observed) are contingent?
2.) If you are saying that universe is contingent then you are saying big bang and singularity is contingent. Which is a direct claim about it's nature but we don't know anything about the nature of singularity so, we can't be sure whether any argument we are using is even applicable there or not forget even about deciding whether it's contingent or not.
This is the short hand of saying i will not accept anything as evidence !

p1) Everything that begins or contingent has cause.
p2) The cause is something other than the contingent being itself.
p3) Contingent beings alone can not be the cause of the existance of a contingent being or to put it another way the cause of a contingent being must include something which is necessary i.e not contingent.
p4) A necessary being exists which is God.
Now this argument has been debunked by many philosophers. I would put forward Russel's objection
The p1 assumption is not true. Yes It is true that most of the beings that we have observed till now must have a cause i.e contingent but it may not be true for Universe as a whole. Because parts having a certain property does not imply whole has the same property. If all the bricks in a wall are small , it does not imply the wall is small. Parts of the universe being contingent does not imply whole of the universe is contingent. The Universe just is. Fullstop.

Yes contingent things without cause explain nehi kar sakte hai. That is agains the definition of contingency. What I am saying in the universe there is all possibility that there are non contingent i.e necessary beings. The universe may be consisting of contingent + Necessary beings. Which makes universe itself contingent but it can be explained by some non contingent being which is part of the Universe.
2) Your Argument against falacy of composition is valid but still origin of the universe without god could be explained as it may consist of Contingent + Necessary beings. Can you prove by deduction that it is not?

Soren's entire argument was structured around his claim that having a PERSONAL religion is harmless. But that's not the vast majority of theists are like. All around the world they are trying to make policies based on their religion, so obviously atheists fight against it. He is taking their stance personally, and he thinks that the anger is justified but in reality it isn't.
Whatever you mention happens when people try to build a religion across the teachings of some people....
If you observe carefully, be it Christ, Krishna or Moses or Buddha... None of them in their teachings talked about forming any religion.
Here muhammad is an exception because in Quran it is clearly mentioned that Allah (read Mohammad) has given you the perfect religion which was started by Abraham. So if we go by that sense, only Islam could be called as a religion to its fullest, all others are made up by their followers afterwards.
So, a monolithic religion based upon outdated beliefs is going to rot like an age-old fruit after sometime as society would change.
And i guess such a monolithic religion is something which makes people fight against each other.

I don't understand why Vimoh calls himself agnostic atheist. Agnostic is a useless title imo. Everyone is agnostic about everything. Nobody can absolutely prove or disprove existence of anything. Aren't religious people agnostic also.
When someone talks about their take on god how can you be just agnostic ? You will say I don't know wether god exists or not that's why. But no-one knows, neither atheists nor theists. So what's the point in saying agnostic. When you're asked about your position you're expected to tell wether you live your life as though god exists or god doesn't exist. You can't be in the middle. In which case everyone is either a theist or an atheist. I don't get this agnostic thing.
