  • A beautiful circular coastal walk near Tintagel, Cornwall. I parked in the car park in Bossiney which is £1 all day, but there is more parking in the village or in the lay-bys down the road towards Tintagel (also on route).
This was one of my favourite routes from my trip to Cornwall, the coast is beautiful, the sea very blue and the views amazing. If you want to go down to the coves, you should visit at low tide as when the sea is in, there is nothing left of the beach (as I found out).
Rocky Valley took this route to the next level for me, if the coastal bits weren't enough, this valley takes you inland where there is a beautiful waterfall, with a dipping pool if you want to get in. The river leads you through woodland and to a ruin that you can explore before putting you back on the road in which you just have to walk up for a short while before getting back to your car in Bossiney.

Dear Char, thank you for the video. The coastal region is really very beautiful and the water looked great. Cliffs have a very special charm, I know such a cliffs of Heligoland. Did it have a lot of birds along the coast? 😊
Thanks for the note with ebb and flow, I wouldn't have thought of it now either. The plunge pools along the path are very beautiful and land to a dip.

It's so great you're exploring the South West. I'm in Devon on the edge of Dartmoor and it's truly stunning.
I love watching your adventures, you capture rugged beauty at its best!🤗

I wish the cows were that indiferrent around here! I went on a walk the other day near Sheriff Hutton and a landowner came out and put me back on the right path through their cow field after I slightly lost my way. They said "you'll need to pick up a stick and wave it at them because they will all run at you and want to say hi". I stepped one foot in the field and about 30 young black cows all bolted straight for me which was slightly terrifying. Thankfully the landowner took pity on me and said I could walk around the edge of their field. Cows are often my downfall on walks!
Greta coastal walk! Havn't seen weather like that for weeks now!

Ahhh same with cows.. I will avoid them whenever I can! I got lucky with these, obviously very used to people walking through so not interested 😁

Did you find St Nectans Glen quite a bit further up the valley? That is a stunning place as well. We are coming up to the Lake District in a couple of weeks time and Im loving your fantastic videos! We’ve seen some lovely places to visit! Thank you!

Ahhhh Thankyou.. I’m glad you like them and hope I’ve given you some ideas ☺️ I avoided st nectans on this visit as the parking around there was very busy.. so I headed the opposite way.. i preferred it this side I think.. just less peopley and an unexpected find 🤩

I’m not sure it was a field on the clifftop .. think it’s probably only open in the high season ☺️

Are UK cows notoriously bad tempered? Every TH-camr seems very leery of them.

You’ve got to be weary of them. They’ve caused a few deaths and bad accidents.. always worse when you’ve a bad experience with them.
