Thank you been waiting for this one. It make me want to do better. At 72 I shake to much an my body hurts too much to do anything else. When I was still a teenager I went up an down a lot of hills with 80 to 130 pounds on are backs. There was no choice in the matter. I think you are the best ship modeler on you tube will be looking for your next one and watching pass ones.
Find Your channel and subscribed. Hopefully, I will pick up enough to build my first newly bought vessel. A swedish gunboat kit from Amati. I love to watch your delicate work. My second try (if it will happen) is a swedish school brig(?), "Gladan" from Billing Boats. The latter have been in store in a closet for 10+ years. It´s time to get started since I´m retired an should have the time. :-)
dont know if you know this, but you can get a paste of flux and solder that comes in a small syringe, normally used for surface mounted electronics, makes life a lot more simple when soldering tiny parts. also, try and get a hold of dentist acrylic powder, it should be better to work with than the micro balloons. check Paul Budzik's video on it. really like your little rolling mill aswell!
Claes Wikberg Yes I do know about the flux/solder paste, but for some reason I haven’t figured out yet I’ve had inconsistent results with it. I didn’t know about the dentist acrylic though. That’s sounds like a great idea. Thanks Claes.

What a true inspiration you are, Tom.

The guitar string bilge pump is inspired. Well done, Tom.

Claes Wikberg If you’re interested the NRG’s Ship Modelers Shop Notes, Volume 1 has the drawings and instructions on page 40 for a rolling mill
