You are right but Germans was the first with concept and ground realities. They were first to introduce levitating train's but the project was unsuccessful due to various reasons and then Japan took a lead from there and become no. 1. No accidents till now because they developed security systems before the whole meglav project you know the reasons like Japan's geography ring of fire and earthquakes. So they developed a system where a seismometer dectets earthquakes and singles the train to stoped. The whole system is so advanced that till now no incidents happened.
Nowadays majority of old Indian trains has been replaced by new Vande bharat express.. You can see that, it's so much luxurious.. Other than this, we are also working on our futururiastic Hyperloop project..which will be completed by the year 2025.

Even though humari Trains are very well maintained and new one's like Vande Bharat looks quite First world from Inside and Outside, They are still very slow compared to East Asia and Europe . Our Fastest Train runs at 160km/hr at max . Even though We have trains that can run at 200kmph but Our Tracks are so outdated that they can't sustain those speeds . Hope we'll catch up soon 🤞🏽
The Best thing Pakistan Railway can Learn from Indian railway is "Safety" . 1) Using LHB Series coaches - these coaches are replacing the old ICF (blue) coaches and they are much more safer as the bogies don't pile up in a situation of an accident . In the recent accident many lives were saved due to this design otherwise casualty numbers would be much much higher as these coaches spread out instead of piling up . 2) Electronic Signaling - Using Electronic signaling system and track changing instead of manual one 3) Anti Collision system - Installing anti collision system which we have just started with our own (Kavach system) 4) Better Maintenance practices - Which we also need to work on especially after the accident edit - 5) Focusing on efficient and fast Cargo transport - like India is working on "Dedicated Freight corridors" which are dedicated tracks built only for Goods train . doubled stacked container Goods train with worlds most powerful loco can travel unto 100kmph + on these tracks hence earning money for the railways and reducing logistics cost. 6) Electrification - It reduces operating costs for the railways

I've been studying European railways and one thing they have done is that they have seperated rail operators and line operators. For example trainitalia and DB are responsible for running the trains. Management of stations and track and is done by another company. And then you have regional companies that only operate in a certain area. And even private companies can come in and deploy there trains like Italo. Nightjet etc. What this creates is a system where everyone is responsible for there own thing. Pakistan needs to do something similar. Railway in Pakistan has a lot of potential but as long as we don't make these structural reforms. Nothing will happen. We can easily create 4 companies within the existing Pakistan railways.
Indian railway also have this prblm which highlated in Pakistan railways but the difference is that indian railways is getting better day by day that's why it is developing compared to Pakistan railways which is stagnant
It's all fun and games until you realise DB is actually notorious for being late. Though they prioritise ICE/IC and regional trains suffer. But, still, it's a fascinating system. Berlin Hbf alone is a magical place to see multilayered tracks working efficiently.

We had a person who happened to be the railway minister at the time of British Raj and that was Sir Zafarullah Khan (first foreigner minister for Pakistan) , he even introduced the system to clean a single bogie by a single person well before the partition and that system is still adapted by Japan. It is very unfortunate that we didn't recognised our heroes and ruined ourselves.

Day before yesterday on 25 June, my sister, bhabhi and kids travelled from Rwp to Karachi on Pakistan Express. The AC in the entire Boggie was not working, mooroover, there were hundreds of cockroaches (if not thousands). This was the situation for entire 24 hours. I kept trying on stations, talking to station masters, but all kept giving me assurances only. And this is not even the worst part !!! The worst part is, my sister herself talked to Conductor Guard, made complaints, kept protesting, and not even a single MAN (despite being with small kids and families) uttered a single word. Kept mum 🤫 Tragic !!
In india, whole railway syatem operate on line. Regarding cleanness problems, sms system operate efficiently, you simply have to lodge your complaint via sms, citing your train/coach no n you will find maintenance staff on next station n they will rectify/redress your complaint. Similar sms facilities r also available to others areas like food( order n complaint), theft etc.
At times a.c. don't work on india toilet may not be clean, can run late up to 6-7 hours and upto 12 hrs especially in winter's .both countries need development

Today I went to the railway station Karachi and found out that there actually exists a train that goes from Karachi to Islamabad, without air conditioning, in the summers. 😮😮😮 That's insane. I a glad you are giving India's example however Indian railways is also not free from issues. It has some really bad systems.. railway accidents are common occurrence , level of customer service is very low. There was even an instance of train getting lost. haha

80 % of india are farmers blue coller worker and private workers who can never afford bullet trains ,vandebharat trains not even 1tier and 2nd tier Ac ,so for 10 % population govt spending this much also millions of rupees transferred to indian tech youtubers and news agencies to spread the propaganda. Even though humari Trains are very well maintained and new one's like Vande Bharat looks quite First world from Inside and Outside, They are still very slow compared to East Asia and Europe . Our Fastest Train runs at 160km/hr at max . Even though We have trains that can run at 200kmph but Our Tracks are so outdated that they can't sustain those speeds . Hope we'll catch up soon 🤞🏽

The Best thing Pakistan Railway can Learn from Indian railway is "Safety" .
1) Using LHB Series coaches - these coaches are replacing the old ICF (blue) coaches and they are much more safer as the bogies don't pile up in a situation of an accident . In the recent accident many lives were saved due to this design otherwise casualty numbers would be much much higher as these coaches spread out instead of piling up .
2) Electronic Signaling - Using Electronic signaling system and track changing instead of manual one
3) Anti Collision system - Installing anti collision system which we have just started with our own (Kavach system)
4) Better Maintenance practices - Which we also need to work on especially after the accident

5) Focusing on efficient and fast Cargo transport - like India is working on "Dedicated Freight corridors" which are dedicated tracks built only for Goods train . doubled stacked container Goods train with worlds most powerful loco can travel unto 100kmph + on these tracks hence earning money for the railways and reducing logistics cost.
6) Electrification - It reduces operating costs for the railways

I've been studying European railways and one thing they have done is that they have seperated rail operators and line operators. For example trainitalia and DB are responsible for running the trains. Management of stations and track and is done by another company. And then you have regional companies that only operate in a certain area. And even private companies can come in and deploy there trains like Italo. Nightjet etc.
What this creates is a system where everyone is responsible for there own thing.
Pakistan needs to do something similar. Railway in Pakistan has a lot of potential but as long as we don't make these structural reforms. Nothing will happen.
We can easily create 4 companies within the existing Pakistan railways.

We had a person who happened to be the railway minister at the time of British Raj and that was Sir Zafarullah Khan (first foreigner minister for Pakistan) , he even introduced the system to clean a single bogie by a single person well before the partition and that system is still adapted by Japan. It is very unfortunate that we didn't recognised our heroes and ruined ourselves.

Day before yesterday on 25 June, my sister, bhabhi and kids travelled from Rwp to Karachi on Pakistan Express. The AC in the entire Boggie was not working, mooroover, there were hundreds of cockroaches (if not thousands). This was the situation for entire 24 hours. I kept trying on stations, talking to station masters, but all kept giving me assurances only.
And this is not even the worst part !!! The worst part is, my sister herself talked to Conductor Guard, made complaints, kept protesting, and not even a single MAN (despite being with small kids and families) uttered a single word. Kept mum 🤫

In india, whole railway syatem operate on line. Regarding cleanness problems, sms system operate efficiently, you simply have to lodge your complaint via sms, citing your train/coach no n you will find maintenance staff on next station n they will rectify/redress your complaint.
Similar sms facilities r also available to others areas like food( order n complaint), theft etc.
At times a.c. don't work on india toilet may not be clean, can run late up to 6-7 hours and upto 12 hrs especially in winter's .both countries need development

I a glad you are giving India's example however Indian railways is also not free from issues. It has some really bad systems.. railway accidents are common occurrence , level of customer service is very low. There was even an instance of train getting lost. haha

80 % of india are farmers blue coller worker and private workers who can never afford bullet trains ,vandebharat trains not even 1tier and 2nd tier Ac ,so for 10 % population govt spending this much also millions of rupees transferred to indian tech youtubers and news agencies to spread the propaganda.
