Recently found a wen planer for 200$ w/ stand lightly used on craigslist. Found your channel through the wen drill press video and figure that the planer is probably pretty nice too. Hard to beat for that price considering the dewalt is 700$.

How do you like having your planer on the rolling tool chest? I have mine on the Dewalt stand but it’s a little low and seems like a waist of space below the planer. Redeeming aspect of the Dewalt planer stand is I can disengage the front wheel and it sits flat on the ground and is pretty solid. On the rolling chest, even when locked, does the planer eventually start moving around? Does rhe tool chest rack a lot if you roll it about? Thanks in advance for your reply.

This chest is actually pretty heavy and the casters mostly just go side to side, so there isn’t any movement back and forth. If that makes sense.
