    Loved the skit! ❤
The part when the booklet got slid under the bathroom door made me laugh. 😂
All the best in your discernment, Jerome! My prayers are with you! I have the utmost respect for our priests. God bless you! 🙏

Thanks so much for the video, Jerome! My name is Paschal and I was blessed to be able to meet you at World Youth Day in Lisbon this past summer! I met you outside a church shortly after a talk given by Chris Stefanick and Jason Evert! It was great being able to meet you, as you inspired me to start praying the Divine Office! You, and your discernment for your vocation are in my prayers. Please keep me in yours as well! God bless,
    - Paschal

Only way to know is pray and try. Many are called but few are chosen. For good reason. It’s a great life for the right person.

Jerome, this video was extremely well done. May God bless you.
I'm a student in college who feels really conflicted about this question. I've been seriously thinking about the priesthood for a little under a year. At the same time, pretty recently I've become more interested in one of the girls at my school's Newman Center.
I feel stuck. I'm in deep at college that I cannot see myself leaving. I just became co-president of our Newman Center, the track I'm on with my major will be very difficult to find again at an affordable price if I was to leave and then return later, and my parents are paying. Additionally, I will be saving no time by leaving college but rather adding on because I'll have to do all four years of seminary college. I've already been here for a year and a half.
I've thought a lot about that clarity in a romantic relationship that you say discerning out of the priesthood would bring. Particularly, I'm trying to figure out how to best use my years here at school. If I date, this question of the priesthood will be on my mind, and I'm not sure that's a fair position to put any girl I truly care for in. On the other hand, I'm here at college for three and a half more years (5 year program) and there are opportunities to meet God-seeking women my age here that I may not have later in life (if I was to discern at seminary only to find out I wasn't really called to the priesthood).
To put it more succicintly, if I knew for sure I was called to the priesthood, I'd go through my college program single, joyfully awaiting seminary. But I'm scared that I'm not called in the first place, and then I'll be "wasting" these years where I'm in a place that's particularly well suited to discern marriage.
Finally - I love the train bedsheets. As a railfan myself (just look at my profile picture!) that was a very interesting to see.
This video is very timely and I'll be thinking about it for a while. Thank you. I'll be praying for you.

Thank you for sharing some of your story Liam. Was a blessing to read through and see you desire to do God’s will. Maybe we could follow up more by email. If you would like my email is jmontpetit@holyapostles.edu
So cool that you noticed the bed cover!! Haha I love how God can work in those little ways!

Thank you, Jerome. This is a great video of encouragement. All of us men should discern the priesthood since we should all be trying to do His will.
Further, you are right. We make time for our loved ones, so if we love Christ, we should be making time to be with Him. It's a tough question, but how can someone ever say they love Christ if they do not sit with Him?
I look forward to watching this series.

Absolutely love all of your content Jerome. Thank you for taking the time you do with your videos. My 2 sons are both discerning. What is the name of the Catholic year long program you attended? Looking back, would you say it had great impact on where you are today?
You are a light for Christ and are very much in our prayers
    God bless you!

Thank you for your encouragement and for watching. I have attended a few different programs. The one you may be thinking of is called the St. Therese Institute of Faith and Mission. Yes, it had a big impact and was a formative year for me. I highly recommend a year there. It is such a gift to live in community and participate in the way of life together. I am still somewhat involved with it since I live close by.

I know there have been some young people who have come from the US. It is a really unique and special place built on the spirituality of St. Therese and her little way.
