Hey ISAD. I was wondering what you actually think about this game. As in Replay ability and how much fun it is overall. I grew up on Grid 1 and 2 and loved them both. I just don't want to be disappointed bc I'm a huge fan of this shit. Also, nice driving. Been subbed for 4 years now.

Even the old driveclub is better. Was expecting amazing environment graphics with detailed and highly destructible cars. Ffs its 2020. Just finished gears 5 and the graphics on pc are on another level. Was expecting more.
in my opinion, the only significant problem in grid 2 was “slowing down when drifting in low gear,” which made braking unnecessary. Motorsport is certainly cool, but when the car cannot enter the turn in drift, it is somehow strange.
missing_nickname yeah I’m so confused at the start it goes 0-70 in less than a second all in first gear must not actually updated to km/hr because I’m pretty sure no car can do that even supercars hah.
@@matthewswank5801 in games speed is measured with rpms, and it doesn't count tyres spinning. If he had unlimited grip the car would go 70mph instantly, but of course it doesn't. When the speed goes back to counting, it's when the car found grip. In most games there is an option to switch between real speed and tyres speed

This track isn't in Grid 1. Grid 1 only had the long circuit through the mountain, this game has both that and this sprint course.
Okutama tenshi way/mizu mountain tracks were present on grid 2 during the wsr stage 3.

@Camarade Toff especially since Carbon was the closest we got to a simcade gameplay that wasn't Shift 2. You can even use a clutch in that game.

The chase cam seems weird to me, I think it's because the cam follows the car too "fixed?", like it doesn't show too much of the side of car?
That's how the chase cam works in other games like GT Sport too.
