Đây là cây đa. Loại cây này nó rễ lộ thiên và lan toả nhanh. Rễ của nó không cắm thẳng sâu xuống đất mà mọc lan rộng trên mặt đất. Rễ của nó có thể đục thủng nền móng của những ngôi nhà gần đó. Banyan trees are just not suitable to be planted in private yards. They get huge, and some types (like this one) send down aerial roots that make things even worse. I doubt very much that this tree is actually 100 years old, however, because banyans grow extremely rampantly in warm, humid climates. In cultivation, banyans should only ever be planted in huge open spaces like parks, school campuses, etc.
