Yep, same with me. This fuckin expansion man. I've been playing video games since just before the original NES released, playing Donkey Kong on the Atari 2600, and I've been playing story centric games since Interstate 76 in 1996, and this expansion was the second time a video game ever made me cry.
I love how you ask "are we doing this right now" right before something I really loved - them adding something "special" by having all the summoning lamps/beacons/pads fire off all one at a time in a rotating shot. Yoshi knew this was a special moment even if it wasn't the actual last boss. Everything about the build-up to this trial is perfection. "Endcaller" is also one of Soken's true masterpieces, and he hasn't even revealed his final form in this expansion.
Brit, confused by Hythlodeaus' words: Wait...DID Emet-Selch...[place his faith and trust in us?] Well, he indirectly, but definitely intentionally, gave you the memory crystal of Azem, brought you and your companions back from the rift when battling Elidibus, tried to befriend and make an ally of you throughout most of Shadowbringers, and finally, entrusted the legacy and memory of his people to you with his final words, "Remember...remember us. Remember that we once lived."
I remember doing the Zodiark fight with our tank DRK having the Taco Marker on him, so we followed him like we were at an art museum being led about to different exhibits. That was because most of the party were first timers and we didn’t know the mechanics.
Plot Twist Graha Teedus is just some random guy playing his adventure at the same speed as you lol. Funny though that he keeps popping up like fancy seeing you here lol.
What kills me is that the one and only thing we know about hydaelyn at this point is that she _cannot_ be an agent of the final days, whatever they are. Emet tells us that zodiark stopped the final days, and Hydaelyn was summoned as a response to that. How could she be responsible for the final days if it's a matter of ascian record that she only exists as a result of them?
Mind you back in Shadpowbringers at this level we were fighting Titania....Zodiark is equal to bloody Titania in this expansion! I thought he will be the last final boss like Hades was but nope..XD I could not imagine what else can be now that we killed Zodiark this early..

This zone was amazing. And yes we all had that same reaction of "wait... We're doing this now!? What's that mean for the rest of the game!?"

As a straight male, I also picked G'raha Tia. While I cherish all the Scions it just seemed right to pick him for a late night chat.
