Do we really need to use an air filter on a jetski? Is the water that polluted? Many watercraft don't use that thing. How about just throwing that thing away and never using it again?

I have a 2008 FX cruiser and it looks nothing like that. Takes less than 5 minutes with just a screwdriver.
I have a 99 Yamaha wave runner and it looks nothing like yours
I have a better filtration solution for it, preventing seawater corrosion and air intake optimization.
