Every time I see new Jet Force Gemini content on TH-cam, it really makes me feel emotional since this was one of my childhood games. I didn't even know there was a prototype GBC game till now, and that's sick! Keep up the awesome work with your videos, you really made my night with this!
@@GameCircleTv i think it would if done right. Games today dont feel the same passion. i was a fan of halo but with infinite it just doesnt feel right. no passion behind it. goldeneye 007 and jet force gemini are s tier games
As i believe with alot of games from that age.. its very much a product of it's time. You had to have been there and play it at the time. A good remaster or remake is always good, but it can never truly regain that feeling back then. This still 100% deserves a remake though as it's one of the quirkiest, yet genius games of that era and one of my top 10's for the system.
Is it completely worthy of being upgraded? Yes,yes it is. Jesus it's missed how many generations already and on the series X/S. Can you imagine what they could do with that. Oh my God you could have so many enemies on the field, the graphics all the detail they would be able to put in would be a perfect. World building would be amazing. The game already had a storyline for it and they can expand,the enemies are insects just put more insects. You could really think of it as like EDF but in space. I just know they need to make another jetforce it's been long enough and me and my best friend still talk about it till this day. I'd also like to see an updated version of ogre battle 64.Oh! Pilot wings 64.
Just came across this video. I love this game because it was the first game I received as a kid for the Nintendo. Story so rich that even though it was hard as a kid, I loved it. The game was far ahead if it's time imo. I would love a remastered version available for all consoles and PC. It be a wonderful dream

Really wished that Jet Force Gemini had a sequel or remastered at least for Switch. But I know that'll probably never happen because Rare is now part of Microsoft. Jet Force Gemini was a memorable game during my childhood and the soundtrack in the game is so good 🤤😁🎶

Both really, jet force Gemini is absolutely an incredible game I love the Star Wars feeling but hell half life 3 I wanted to know who the gman would definitely was it would be amazing if we got more information on his origins and black mesa and aperture science.
There is no point in a remastered version. This game got the visuals right as well as the atmosphere and, of course, the music and monster/environment design. I can't see anything that would be improved with modern-day graphics or shaders. Really, they're surplus to requirement. This game is perfect for the time it was created and now. I speak as a 3D modeller, Texturer, and animator. Really, I can't see any value in upping the video effects or resolution. It's perfection as it is and is a good bit of nostalgia for the players who were born then or those who wish to explore what cutting edge graphics were back then. xZx

You're not the only one. I got to the final Mizar fight and tried for days without succeeding. I found all the bosses pretty hard on that. It's coming out again very soon on Switch though (might even be there already) so I'm looking forward to giving it another go now that I'm 24 years older!
Not a joke and I am glad that you noticed. GoldenEye was originally intended for the SNES. I guess we are lucky that it did not and ended up on the 64 because the game would not have been the same.
Finally, someone noticed. Great catch. It is because it was originally being made for the Super Nintendo, but luckily, they made it into a 64 game. Obviously, it works better with the 64 graphics and advancements.

For me this is the best game ever - the best game I ever played . Followed by Zelda Ocarina of Time . And then maybe Witcher 3 .
