Frickin Nissan great video yea I'm having issues
I disconnected pos.and negative from the battery for 1hr...that resets the computer and Reads and reprograms your key...and Bam it started right up no problem...try it before you do anything else !!!
many steering locks render many people stranded . thank goodness they are really straightforward to detect along with the enhanced part is not high priced . I have a do-it-yourself on it over at my channel too .
mine isn't even beeping when I open the door, the headlights absolutely nothing! I just spent all my savings on this 07 Murano for my son n I just got it out of the shop bc he's a new driver and I wanted new breaks etc

Hey guys! Before hitting it try looking at the fuses on the positive terminal connector. One of mine were blown and it caused the intelligent key light. It costed $25 for a new one at autozone and was easy as hell to fix. Hope this helps someone.

@modbee5390 open your hood check the fuse that's on your positive battery terminal if it's blown that's your issue if you have aluminum foil get a piece shove it in there and watch your car startup

Did u have to program the key... or is it just a swap how long is the process
all you have to do is tap the module with a hammer to get the car started. Once its started pull the 10A steering lock fuse in the fuse box under the hood. I did this 5k ago and its still going strong running without the fuse.
Tap it with a hammer? Do you have to take the panel off? I seen a comment where they said you can get to it without taking the panel off. This happened to me today right now.

@@gtrodz23 I dont know honestly what was my issue, but it turns out mine had a bad battery and I just switched it and it turned on and ended up working, but it was stuck at my work for days until I was able to charge the battery and get it to the person who sold it to me, he bought the battery and replaced it for me and I haven't had issues since..

You have to also remove the steering lock fuse, for this to work.
Incorrect all you have to do is push down that bar and thats it…..i know because i drilled a screw threw the bar and my car has been fine for almost a year now. Granted the yellow “Key Light” is still lit but if my car starts I really dont care.
My car key fob not working my lights in the car work but not the headlights or the horn! But I says key fob not in the car
I’ve had the steering lock box removed and it’s still won’t start but still shows the key light and anti theft flavhing red car.. any idea what else it could be? My 12v battery is being drained also (brands new car is a hybrid)

Temp Ugly I’ve been told by a mechanic that the key needs to be reprogrammed by the dealer... haven’t had a chance to get a tow not sure if that’s really the end all to my problem since something is draining my battery also will update once I do

Replace steering lock control kit works for a day following day car does not want to turn on and I have to play with the ignition button (turn on and off) for the dashboard to light up any recommendations

I'm not real sure on all the models that this covers. If your car has push button starting then there is a god chance it may use the same part.

I clicked on this video looking for the name of the part because I heard there was a recall and I wanted to ask Nissan if there is a recall on the part but you didn't know what The Thing was called. find that out before you film
I would suggest an initial look at the problem them actually fixing the problem. This was just a lot of talking over the beeping. Not helpful!
