I find seeing same sex birds to be so interesting and have wanted to learn more about them for a while now! It is such a cool and not so studied thing from what I've seen when it comes to Animal behaviors, but it is something I think we should look more into. Enjoyed your video and hope to see one like this one in the future!

I would love to find a way to study same-sex pairing from an animal behavior perspective, I know the incidence of the behavior is underreported (for instance, my observations have not made it into published literature because they were tangential to the projects I was doing). I really wish someone made an effort to collect such data from all researchers, maybe enough of us have observations we could pool them together for a big project!
