This chocolate mug cake is just 3 ingredients and takes less than 1 minute to cook. It also doesn’t contain any flour, butter, oil, or refined sugar. It is so easy to whip up and you can have a warm, gooey chocolate cake ready in about five minutes. This is essentially a simplified version of a flourless chocolate cake. It is meant to be cooked in the microwave but you can bake it too. I love that it’s made with three easy ingredients so it takes just a few minutes to prepare!

is there any way to cook it without cocoa powder
It's 3 AM and I was too lazy to use and weigh many ingredients, so I tried this. I added a bit of chocolate chunks and some Nutella to the batter. It was pretty nice if you want something quick and easy just to satisfy your sweet tooth (don't expect it to taste like the real deal obviously lol).
BTW I used a small bowl because it's more even and flat to cook evenly in a microwave than a mug. I don't trust microwave mug recipes because of that.
P.S. For microwave recipes, ALWAYS keep in mind that microwaves have *different wattages.* Which means that the times will vary depending on it!

I tried this and it was really good, it has a nice spongy texture Edit: I tried doubling the recipe and microwaved it for 1:30 sec and it was still so good
I tried it out it was tasty as a snack also granulated shugar works too you can add small amount of real butter for smoothens

If something's missing then it'd probably be the cocoa powder. Everyone has sugar (you can use granulated as well) and eggs (vegans go away, I'm not counting you) at home. I'm about to try it right now because this recipe's the quickest one I found and it's 2:10 am lol

This was actually really good!! I definitely recommend this but probably add a couple other things as well.
I thought this would've been super eggy, but this actually came out super nice. Very sweet. Make sure to mix it well or you'll have boiled egg pieces there

Me and my friend made it together and it turned out really good we followed the measurement and we added some melted butter and then it wasn’t cooked enough at 1 min so we put it on for 2 mins and 20 secs it turned out amazing 8/10

Omg its super good and tasty i actually add 3 teaspoons of milk and that's so good but i make into the microwave for 1:30 after the first minute you should open the microwave for every 5 seconds . I really recommend it

Guys there is another way to make a mug cake and I have tried it too. So you add 1 egg, 2 spoons of flour and some nutella. It’s super easy and you can definitely find other videos doing this method. I prefer it has more simple things you probably have already. Microwave for about 2 minutes :)
Its really tasty though i added butter to make it soft and i ate it with whipped cream
So delicious! But instead of using cocoa powder, I used crushed up Oreos and it was so good that I literally was levitating

Pretty good I’m sick and this was an easy quick snack, but make sure you stir well or parts will taste like choclaty sweet eggs 6-7/10

Celsius?? I think you're mistaken it with an oven. Microwaves do not work with degrees.

this was SCRUMDIDDLYUMPTIOUS. 10/10. 20/10. 30/10. my ears are literally ringing this was too good. i rarely eat large amounts of sugar but this was absolutely worth it. i added some dark chocolate chips to the bottom, and they melted in the microwave making a literal chocolate lava mug cake that tastes even better than the ones on fancy restaurant menu’s. im begging you to PRETTY PLEASE make this or else i will force feed this cake into your throat.

So I made it with sugar instead of powdered sugar, and when I microved it for 1 minute, it still looked kind of raw. Is that normal?
i had to microwave mine for 2 minutes and i have a kenmore microwave and it is brand new so it just depends on your micrwave

Mine didnt come out like this at all, it tasted quite bad actually, and the smell of the egg stayed too.
