8:08 it should be noted that in subsequent editions of A New Hope, Lucas leaned into the stormtrooper helmet bonk by having an appropriately metallic clank put into the soundtrack.
There was a little goof at 12:27 that has finally been erased on the Disney+ version but was always there before. As Luke walks away from the ledge, you hear his lightsaber power off but don’t see it. That’s because once out of camera, Mark Hamill switched his lightsaber prop with a crew member for one that didn’t have a blade attached. Watch to the right of Luke and you’ll see the un-rotoscoped blade moving away from him to the right.
I noticed that very thing back in 1980 when I saw the movie and I've watched that seen a million times wondering if I imagine that... But yes you can clearly see that whoever Mark handed the Long blade to is trying to put it away but the end of the blade can be seen just briefly as the extra is putting it away.... I thought I was the only one
The extra with the platform shoe was an extra that wore one lifted shoe because his legs are different lengths. That was mentioned in a Star Wars Q/A way back in the early 1980s by the head costumer.
Just rewatched star wars...uhm..the the stormtrooper said stun her and then stunned Leia. Seriously!? Stormtroopers had a stun setting this whole time?
If they chose to use their stun setting, the rebels would know they don’t want to kill them. So they sued the regular setting and purposely missed to make it look convincing
If you really didnt like it you wouldnt of clicked it AND commented giving them the algorithm push they need too help push out the video to more viewer's, just a thought :D
I believe the stormtrooper hitting his head was caused by the door not opening all the way because it wasn't opened normally and was opened by the stormtrooper blasting the controls causing it to not go up all the way
I still love the model stand that was clearly visible underneath Darth Vader's modified tie fighter as it went spinning out of control. This was fixed in the special edition of A New Hope.
Luke's _lightsaber_ is stamped "NY“ (or “New York“? I can´t see) because the handle is (now) well-known to have been crafted from the remote flash wand of a Graflex camera -- made in Rochester.
Only recently I noticed that during the holographic chess scene on the Falcon, in R2's close up, the lights reflecting off of him are clearly the elongated oval Imperial design of the Death Star. (something Gil Taylor doesn't get enough credit for)
What of Lando Calrissians shoulder-gun holster in Return of the Jedi switching sides from left to right a numerous times? When Han and Lando discusses the Falcon prior to the Battle of Endor, in the discussion the shoulder-gun holster switches sides from left to right and vise-versa in the different shots. Once you see it, it can never be unseen as it is so obvious.
Nobody ever mentions landos leather crossing guard belt going from right side to left side and back to right in return of the Jedi. It's when he and Han were in the hanger bayand Han was telling him to take the Falcon
What- you ignored Han's second pistol in RotJ? (After the Ewoks rescue them at the bunker, Han picks up his blaster, there's an identical one next to it)
I’ve been a Star Wars fan all my life and even though I’m sure there were gaffs in the movies (just like any movie/ play/ performance/ presentation) I’ve NEVER tried to cash in on the mistakes that may have occurred…in 1977 George Lucas created a universe that has grown and made billions of people happy and if all you can do is spend your time looking for something to splash on TH-cam then maybe YOU should go and something more productive with your life because people who call out other people’s mistakes are usually weak minded and have nothing positive to offer
You guys forgot about the production guy that was standing behind Hayden Christensen in Ep III during the Mustafar duel that was covered by the lava but paused at the right moment you can see someone’s face behind Hayden’s
In "A New Hope," Obi Wan's eyes oddly blink out of sync when he opens the vertical slide door in the comm center. Also, in the same movie, after the destruction of the Death Star, in Rebel port, in the excitement and celebration, Luke shouts out Leia's real name, "Carrie!". In "Return of the Jedi" at the celebration on Endor, Lando was wearing a gold Rolex watch while clapping.
I think it’s funny how they can spend millions on movies, touching them up, but than don’t take the time to scrub out mistakes like the NY logo, I mean that can’t be that many frames and with AI it can’t be that hard of a fix.
How come no one talks about Vader's hemet getting blown around in the wind in the Empire "No, I am your father." scene. I've always noticed it and it takes me out of the movie. The top of his helmet flexes and moves around when his head does not.
@@derekteague1314 except that the editors aren't on set. They need continuity directors on set to make sure continuity is upheld on set and then again in the editing booth
Many productions do have a person or people for continuity. Mistakes are inevitable, sometimes because of pickup shots and reshoots made months later. One that was obvious to me on Attack of the Clones was Anakin's pale skin on Geonosis after his tan on Tattooine. Makeup department didn't even attempt a faux tan.
As if this guy’s accent isn’t hard enough to understand, the sing-songy delivery makes it impossible. Even TH-cam closed captioning was 🤷🏻♂️. I had to stop at 5:51 because there was no point in putting up with it anymore.
Wow. This is pathetic. Imagine celebrating or "laughing every time I see it" small mistakes made by industry professionals. I wonder how many movies the creator of this video has been involved in. Get a life.
Sometimes it is not possible. It's often due to scheduling, where hair is cut for one role and days later they're on another set and they need long hair. Or maybe you need CGI to erase a mustache grown for another role. 😅
Ok, maybe i watch too many of these, but a, shut up your voice is not that nice to hear. So please stick to the topic. B, who watches a movie and cares about the mistakes that happen? People see what thier imagination shows them, this kinda ruins watching the movie again, makes it too real and ruins the illusion

Take a high resolution photo of the Mona Lisa and you will see brush strokes...?
They are an integral part of the artistry, after all.
My Question is, the people that find these... "What no life so you go through a movie frame by frame?" GET A LIFE!!

Rule of thumb just because the old ones are not perfect crispy clean doesn't make them bad. The best works of art are not perfect.
They are better than new films. I never noticed and still tough to see if not for this videp

Seems like that stun setting is better aim than their ordinary “blast em” setting.

Umm… yeah….
Yes they did, but the was the only non disposable character so everyone else died

Has there ever been a movie franchise that has been dissected as much as SW? WOW. No wonder the fandom is so messed up... Just let it be.
How does that make it messed upped?

So Queen amidala dress.. Did they not know what batteries were😂 let's just hook her up to a cable haha

I'd never once noticed the glowing orbs on Amidala's dress

ESB is such a flex, Lucas showing studios what can be done with a vision and technology.

C3P0 knocking one of the lights on the Falcon when he's being carried up the ramp by Chewie in The Empire Strikes back and manages to switch it off

I have heard of picking at fly specks, but you take to a new high.
