Its probably doing that because there is something unwanted in the current version of Cheat Engine, it's not the fist time it happened i remember version 4 had some nasty bloatware and malware but at least it had the decency to uncheck the box to avoid installing it all together. This version has no such thing, ever since smartphones were made personal privacy all but evaporated despite having stringent privacy laws, they have all been subverted in one way or another by asking permission should you ever want to use your new fancy $1000 privacy invading, tracking device! People seem to forget that every app you ever install has assess to your location, files, contacts, and porn pictures of your self and your significant other!
It worked but you could have avoided doing alot of editing to make it easier for us to see what you were doing. I had to reverse the video and pause like 6 different times just to read and see what you were doing for something that took me 15 seconds without editing
Are you telling us to look at us now and get the virus!? Viruses can still spread no matter how much antivirus is turned off, so the most expert of us, please solve this way!
I've got it where Once cheat engine opens I'd turn the virus protection on and I can use it as normal. If your worried I would turn the virus protection on right after you get done using it.
@@chezzitcinamon1831keep turning the virus protection on and off and boot up cheat engine. If it's still not opening I would restart your pc and starting over. There were time where after 15 attempts it would finally boot up. Just keep at it and it will eventually work. P.S The message I sent earlier regarding turning on virus protection after cheat engine boots up may and may not work. I would leave it off while using it and turning virus protection back on once your done.
From what I've been reading it's not a virus. Cheat engine modifies stored data. A virus works the same way which is why Windows picks it up as a virus. If your still not sure. There's are other methods of downloading cheat engine without the virus

Cheatengine is not fake, its just a program that allows you to change values(among other things) in games and programs.
