Any fan that's seen a whole series of Joel Embiid go up against their team absolutely hates him. Dude is a flopper, whiner who takes no accountability. He'd still be MVP level without all these shenanigans. Knicks fans 🤝 Raptors fans

Except he wouldn't be an MVP candidate. Embiid gets a bunch of nonsense calls that no one else in the NBA gets. He even out FTs the Lakers who get the FT edge on everyone else. Embiid is Julius Randle with an NBA protected stat boost. Not only do the FTs give him free points, but now his opponents can't be as aggressive since they're in foul trouble so he gets more cheap points.

Bill made an excellent point about Embiid and the other stars in this era. An era of team-stacking, excuse-making, zero accountability, zero self-awareness, little to no defense, big men chucking threes and hoping for the best, and worst of all, team-switching. If things dont work out in one season, they bounce to another team again and again. Thankfully, this era is coming to an end. Out with the old and in with the new. The NBA is watchable again thanks to the new generation of players and a new culture of basketball. These younger players show more physical defense, teamwork, hard work, passion, play your role, do your job, players play, coaches coach, postup play, etc. Parity and balance is makin the game better and more competitive. Lesser known teams are competing and its exciting to see!

You guys need to be honest with what the players on the knicks has done as a team collectively to ensure they win the series. Brunson was inefficient the first 3 games. It was Josh 3’s and the team play that allowed them to win. And when Brunson finally shows up you guys only see Hart struggles from 3 and states Brunson has carried the knicks to victory. Again it is the entire team effort and yes game four Brunson played out of his mind: my point is he had more than one game where he didn’t play so well and it was his teammates that covered down. Show love to the teammates the same way you show love to the star….

  • @MineFullStop

I'm really trying to get behind Embiid and give him atleast the smallest benefit of the doubt but every time Embiid loses he ALWAYS blames someone. He blamed Ben Simmons then his team mates then the coach then the refs and now the crowed. I know sixers fans are going to try and stick up for him with excuses of being hurt, well he dropped 50. Not to mention how much he flops and gets 20+ free throws on the regular. The guy has been in the league for 12 years and can't get past the 2nd round of the playoffs all because Embiid plays way worse in the playoffs where it separates best players in the league compared to just really good players during the regular season and that's what Embiid is a really good regular season player and that's that.

Yeah it's absurd to blame this loss on Embiid. The knicks team is just much better than the sixers team. Just look at the fact that the Knicks were able to pull off two wins when Brunson had very bad games. The only game the Sixers could win was when Embiid went off for 50. If Embiid had a game like Brunson's 1/2 the sixers get blown out by 20+.

He's averaging 6.8 of his 35 on 16.7% shooting and 48% TS in the 4th. .5 of his 9 rebounds in the 4th. So yes statistically for the whole game it looks great and if the sixers were dominating it wouldn't matter, but in a series with multiple close games you can't just dominate for 3 qtr.
