You can use a plastic waste bin as a cashpot for your Regal, thay have them in many uk shops, they are taller and slimmer then normal pots,

It sounds like your new channel is more like a podcast/conversation heavy content channel, so maybe something along the lines of a “behind the curtain” theme? Maybe having a particular discussion topic; eg mental health and following a series or set of questions and offering your opinions, perspectives or experiences. Maybe asking for questions from followers about the specific topic, but keeping it super free form and not-too-structured. I think also not being afraid to talk about plants/plant community stuff without that “restrictive” feeling that the formulaic planty content you said can be like. I think it still would be interesting to hear the raw opinions of like, mental health and how that affects your ability to take care of plants, or how it’s changed your perspective. Maybe also doing fun stuff like quizzes or DIYs together!

Have you thought about glass vases for the cash pot? Like those big huge storm glass vases they have for weddings lol. You could paint the outside so try and hide the inner if you don’t like the look. Ohh also you could still leave yourself a little viewing spot to see the water levels.
I can absolutely relate, as I was the same as you after the plant swap....totally and utterly wiped out that my plants just sat there for the next 48 hrs.
Having anxiety run your system for days at a time, followed by the anxiety, overwhelming fear and excitement of an event (all at the same time), and then a surefire crash when you stop, takes a toll on you both mentally and physically; factor in a couple or a few sleepness nights into that and it affects everything that makes you "you". The day truly took me out of my comfort zone, but it was all worth it, and I wouldn't change a thing. As an introvert, at least I can say, I can truly be blessed to have a connection with my plants, have a connection with like minded people without fear of judgement, appreciate getting to know myself wholly, and have my plants act as support on down days, as well as be a welcome distraction from pain, and they stimulate my brain to keep learning about these little things that grow which teach me patience, compassion and keep me grounded in the moment. The power of plants 💪💪🌱🌵🌿🧘♀🧘♂

Your alocasia is sooo beautiful. I wish I could have kept mine growing lots of leaves in my house! Unfortunately all mine have migrated outside to my east facing sun dappled courtyard garden. And I hope the rot dries out on your beauty....maybe spray it with hydrogen peroxide or put some cinnamon on it??? You know best I guess 😄 Thanks for yet another great video esp knowing what an effort you put into them 💪😻

You don’t need anything interesting! Super common plants get swapped as well because not everyone has them and it’s a great way to try new things! We defo won’t stop you from getting a ticket and coming to meet people & chill but you’ll defo wish you’d brought something rather than nothing 🥰
Totally get that but even the most beginner plants get swapped so I’d defo recommend bringing something. We certainly won’t stop you from getting a ticket and just chilling & chatting but you’ll have more fun if you do some swapping too 💚
