If you move to the Philippines and marry a Filipina, build a shipping container house. The day she throws you out, you can take your house with you and ship it to another country :)
And they ship just about anywhere in the world for just a couple of grand. Turning a steel box into a livable space in the tropics is no minor undertaking, but it can be made very comfortable as long as you have enough PV panels & batteries to run the HVAC. Insulation and ventilation is key (built a couple of them).
I learned the other day that if the adverts are skipped before 30 seconds, the owner of the advert isn't charged for it. This also means that the owner of the channel, doesn't get paid for running the advert. For this reason I have started allowing the ad's to run for more than 30 seconds before skipping them, but only for the channels I really want to succeed, like this one 😃👍
Pea said that she hasn't received any money from youtube yet, although they are certainly running ads during her videos. I've noticed that some ads are running up to 10 minutes long on other youtube channels. Good to know about the 30 second rule-it's difficult to sit through a 10 minute cooking lesson(ad).
How are you Pea thank you for channel I have a question for you is Gracie the Lawyer is good looking is she available I am sorry if the question offended you You also look nice
Always like your humorous endings when they are appropriate to the topic. I also appreciate your sensitivity regarding topics where humor would be insensitive.
This has been very informative as its coming straight from a lawyer. I've been looking for a while for this info with many different wrong answers available. Thank you from this Canadian looking to come, now in 2021.
This is what I love about your channel, yesterday I learned that there is a very good health insurance reasonably priced. You dig in and find the answers no expats that live and just talk about Phil care and nothing else you found a good healthcare insurance Co. Pacific health care! You are the best form of information in my opinion!:)
...always good to see your lovely face and smile , listen to your calming voice, and watch your interesting, intelligent, humorous, most excellent , and very informative videos...keep up the great work....
Hi Pea! Always great content. As an SRRV visa holder, this one was really great. I enjoyed meeting Gracie too. BTW, could I suggest that you introduce Gracie as an attorney and give a link to Gracie's Law Office so that she and your viewers could benefit by hiring her legal services? All the best...
I like the fact that you had someone qualified to answer the questions about the different types of visas need. You even look surprised by some of the answers. I like that you answer the questions that many westerners who are planning to move to the Philippines. I also believe that this is helping Philippino people learn about westerners culture. I have considered retiring in the Philippines, but after seeing some your video and learning a lot. Some of the things that I would have do without, or pay higher for makes me a little reluctant. Example steak I'm a very big steak eater. Even in the US I would pay extra for a very nice cut of meat. The other is I'm a big time hunter. My eating habits would have to change. And airfare to fly back and forth for America to Philippines can get costly. Your advice about Philippino women at a young age, bringing to the US and they start looking at the younger men and wanting to cheat. Was a good point, and viagra the comment was funny. This has been on a lot of American mens mind. I think each has to make up their minds, can I make these sacrifice. Your advice is right on. The only way your going to know for sure is come to the Philippines and see for yourself. My father was in the navy in WW2 and Korean war. My dad said the Philippines was one of his most favorite countries to visit. The people are happy their always smiling The beautiful people. I in fact live next door to a Philippino family I have known them for 29 years now. Their kids were born here in the USA. So I'm thinking that I would like a young Philippino wife but maybe not too young maybe around 35 to 45 instead. I have found a Philippino woman that I have been chatting with for about seven months now. I met her on one dating site. I really like Philippines cupid Better than most sites. They have reasonable prices. I'm going to keep watching and learning from your video. Thank you for making this easier on couples that are trying to make a connection.
I love when you have Gracey on. You two are a pleasure to watch. I think you may have saved my stay in the country. I'm planning on moving to Dumaguete and you may have just saved my stay in the Philippines. I have a friend who is getting a resort who asked me if I could help out a bit. I know better now
Very nice to see Gracey again, seems like her "friends rate" for your bill was very reasonable. You can run, but something tells me that will just make it more expensive...
I always like your legal clinics. Its information that I already know, but at least it confirms on what I say to others. Example, the friend working on a tourist Visa. I always tell Filipinos becareful, as you own people will turn you in.
First, the tourist visa can be extended by 29 days (at first), which may not seem to be important until you're standing in line. Second, the SRRV costs from $1500/$1500 to $50k/$50k. The amounts are for the fees and deposits. The first pair of amounts are for diplomatic or retired military persons (not sure why) and the second is the high end for everyone else. Don't remember the details only that I got the better deal! The $1500 was the fee and the second $1500 was placed in an investment account with BDO in, very specifically, the Pacific Star branch. It's still there and I've written it off.
I see some thumbs down on this gals video. How is that possible? What kind of person would not like her video. The Filipina Pea is the best i have seen . She is so smart and articulate. Many Philippians where I live. Thank You for your videos. Chuck from Alaska
Thank you for this video sweetheart. Not only is this video packed with helpful information to make my extended stay in Dumaguete go more smoothly, but I also get to look at pretty girls while watching it. You have become an important resource for me in planning my trip there after the virus goes away. This information will certainly help me in dealing with the girls and the government when i get there. I hope you continue to be available to me as a resource for a long time. Hugs and kisses from the United States.
My favorite part. when You ask Gracey how long it will take for the government to complete their investigation for someone to become naturalized, She then said that she cant give a specific time. Then you said can you give an estimate, Gracey looks at you and says "You know how the Philippines works right"? You both had such big smiles after that.. That was almost as funny as when she gave you the bill. Have you known each other for some time or just a random first meeting? Because both of you together --What a great team!!!! so informative and entertaining. TFS
Hahahaha Yes, we both know all too well how it works here! I actually met Gracey when I needed an affidavit signed a few months ago - she struck me as competent and approachable, and has been my go-to for any legal needs I’ve encountered. We are friends, but only in a professional sense 😊
Sweet pea, watch out for the wok wok. What you say is pretty much fair dinkum as our Aussie friends would say. I love your country and its people lived there for two years at the naval air station at Cubi point. Been with my filipina for 50 years and I would do it all over if I had the chance. I have a lot of respect for filipinos they can build something from nothing and are always happy and will share everything they have. I have many thing to add on surviving with a filipina I will share later, after 50 years you have to learn something. Rock on. Frank
God made lawyers for a reason... Planning on liquidating here and moving there (sooner than later is our hope). Wife is a Filipina here in the U.S. under resident alien status. I'm just an ol' Texan. Good information on this posting to aid in our plans.
Pea, good stuff thanks. Two observations, one as you said they are only accepting long term right now so that makes it still impossible for those of us not 100% sure about retirement there yet. (I would perfer to visit for several months first and see if I want long term): Second I understand there is at least for the moment being able to come with no visa and get an automatic 30 days as it had been.🤨 So none of that great info will currently help any of us hoping to visit any time soon. That said, you're awesome as usual and we appreciate Gracey. BTW, I saw your comment that Jen was there eating with you. Please keep us updating on her progress 😁
Yeah, but bring a lot of patience. You will be spending lots of time in immigration offices getting Visa renewals etc. Staying is easy, jumping through all the hoops can at times seem a challenge.
Thank you so much for this information Pea! Hopefully I can get my Covid-19 vaccinations soon and travel there to start researching my retirement place
Great informational video for ex-pats! Good to hear it coming straight from a lawyer! What if you are single and don't want to marry a Filipina, but want to become a resident - is that possible? Holly cow - there was one 10 minute ad on this video in addition to all the others! Kudos to you Pea!
Thank you Gracie and your input is greatly appreciated. It appears that the Philippine requirements are very similar to Thailand. Getting citizenship to the US seems to be a lot quicker. Just think about if the United States had the same requirements, restrictions on land and visa. Protected jobs that only American citizens can have. Very Interesting !
That's a great point. In the states virtually anyone can get in and then take low paying(often below minimum wage) jobs undercutting American workers. In the Philippines the working class is protected from foreigners coming in and competing for local jobs. America pits workers against workers to help the capitalist owners. The Philippines, on the other hand, protects the working class.
Wow Filipina Pea I get to the comments 4 hours after your video is posted and already 251 comments you have grown tremendously since your introduction videos...GREAT JOB...you are the Pea.....😀🇸🇽
Loved this Because once I get a vaccination for Covid I plan to visit the Philippines for At least six months… I don’t think you can have your friend the lawyer on your program too much because she is priceless with her knowledge… Another great job P you’re very professional… Thank you
Terrific Pea very infomative, be great to see something similar dealing with the question of visa's for Philippino's wanting to visit other countries ie. UK or USA, look forward to your next video as always :)
I loved the end. Thanks for so much useful info. Would you mind, when you have time, talking about the condition of entry for Americans in these days of Covid 19. It s hard to find reliable info from a philippines point of view. Thanks.
I would use her if I had any important things there if it was up to me. If she was available even if I had to wait a few days or her schedule because she acts a professional and respectful.
Pea, very funny ending. A lot of good information for us foreigners. Glad to see you love animals. It's nice of you to keep your pet squirrel warm in the top of your blouse. You've trained him well as he stayed there during the whole interview with the beautiful Gracie. However it did look like he was going to jump out a couple of times. Keep the video's coming. YOU ROCK!!
Hi Pea, another great Q&A session with Gracey! You two are so good together and easy on the eyes 😃. I'm sure that we expats appreciate your time, knowledge and FREE advice regarding information we can use to protect our interest and freedom. Pea if you run out of hiding places you might have to use your survival skills to stay lost for awhile 😉. Take care and thanks for another good video 😊.
I had to cancel a ticket I booked three months in advance thinking the travel ban would be lifted by now. No real problem, I made sure it was refundable when I booked it. The problem for me and so many others is that nobody knows when normal tourist visas will be available. Governments are very good at saying no, not so good at predicting when and how they will say yes.
yea Joe, we are playing the waiting game, hope they don't restrict entry from USA because of the spike in cases.... where are you staying when you get there?
I booked a flight for Sept. 13th back in early May. Was told that if the PH is still closed to foreign tourist visas at that time, I can hold the reservation and rebook another future date at no cost. I have a feeling come the start of September I will be rescheduling....hoping for maybe March 2021
I went to Cebu for a ceritfication course. I had to get a visa extension because my class was 32 days. My course ended early (28 days). Had I known that before, I wouldn't have gotten my extension
Yup, you’re going to need a special visa for that, apparently! How sad Oh, you thought that was my microphone? Nooo, that was my pet chinchilla, Nips, who lives in my shirt 😆
Ok, everyone needs a visa. Technically, the stamp you get in your passport upon arrival is a visa. And as mentioned in the video, it only lasts 30 days. Before the 30 days is up, you must return to a immigration office and get a visa extension. Key part of that sentence is "visa". This means you have a visa, and you want to extend it. I think a more clearly stated way to explain the system is that tourists from some countries are not required to get a pre-arrival visa, while others are required(like Taiwan) to get a pre-arrival visa before they are allowed to enter.
🎉🎉🎉I think some visa info has changed since this was done…? But anyway really enjoy the facts here… Gracie is so great! Thanks hardworking pea!!!😊 Watched a second time..
THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO PEA. I usually get an entrance/tourist visa stamp as I enter the country. 30 Days is the limit. I usually only go there for 30 days maximum.
Good Job Pea - that was useful information. It is difficult to stay focused when watching 2 pretty Filipinas with long hair chat on the sofa !!! Looking forward to the next one !!!
Dear friend this is already the 2nd video of yours I've seen even if I take in account videos about Philippines made by foreigners I would say that your videos are the most helpful I have seen about Philippines and I've seen quite a few.
Your an absolute champion pea..love all your work..very funny and informative..just the way I like it..last scene is a ripper..well played once again..very useful information..🏖 I so want to live in the Phil..✈ Australia is really starting to piss me off..
I don’t blame you Thomas! Half of me wants you to stay and fight to change your country back to what it should be, but the other half wants me to tell you “Screw it - get out while you can” 😆
I have the SRRVisa = the absolute Best to have for Me as an Early Federal Retired & US Veteran here in the Philippines. Deposit into PNB as a Resident Investment is Great ! You get many other Benefits as Well !! Great Vlog Pea & Wise Lawyer ! Salamat po.
Hi Kevin. I am looking at that too eventually. Do you have to stay retired? Eg later can you start a business or strictly retire?. Of course Filipino Partner could control the business and I just sit back and enjoy what's left of life
Excellent content and well executed. Two very funny women that can be serious when it needs to be and make fun of each other to lighten the mood.well done
I’m an American married to a Bicolana and upon my first visit to the Philippines I did not need to purchase any visa and was allowed to stay up to one year.
Another fantastic video baby, informative and funny as always, one question springs to mind is working remotly for my uk job (checking emails contacting staff etc) on a holiday visa classed as earning an income, or is it dependend on the country you are registered for income tax?
Hello sweetie I watch the ads on every vedio because I know it helps you with the $$$. But the information and content is what helps me out. I been chatting with my gf for 3months , she from outside butuan city province.
Best reason to retire there: The friendly, good hearted people. Worst reason to retire there: Greedy, corrupt government that doesn't give a shit about those people.

Loved this Because once I get a vaccination for Covid I plan to visit the Philippines for At least six months… I don’t think you can have your friend the lawyer on your program too much because she is priceless with her knowledge… Another great job P you’re very professional… Thank you
pea i love your channel this is better than oprah
Terrific Pea very infomative, be great to see something similar dealing with the question of visa's for Philippino's wanting to visit other countries ie. UK or USA, look forward to your next video as always :)
I loved the end. Thanks for so much useful info. Would you mind, when you have time, talking about the condition of entry for Americans in these days of Covid 19. It s hard to find reliable info from a philippines point of view. Thanks.
Another great video filled with an exceptional amount of free legal advice from beautiful Gracey.
YOU ROCK!!
Ohhhh, you mean Nips? Yes, he’s very well trained 😁
Thanks Kevin - I’ll hide out at my shack in the jungle!!
Thank you for your free info advice and may God watch over you protect you and keep you healthy you and your family and friends
Im going in January hopefully things will be normal then.
I was booked to fly the day the lockdown went into effect, didnt catch my flight. lose money, but supposedly pal will honor another flight...but when?
paul gibbons the spike in cases is because we are the most tested in the world ...without all the testing there wouldn’t be so many positive cases
I booked a flight for Sept. 13th back in early May. Was told that if the PH is still closed to foreign tourist visas at that time, I can hold the reservation and rebook another future date at no cost. I have a feeling come the start of September I will be rescheduling....hoping for maybe March 2021
EXCELLENT INFO! best video on the subject! thank you! (your friend is GORGEOUS ❤️❤️❤️❤️)
The Lawyer Is So Cute And Smart
I guess you dont want to know her better, when you start arguing with her.
Yes she is and so is Pea🥰
Another great video my pag-umangkon
!!! Uncle Rob 😍👍🏽😍👍🏽
Thanks, Unk!! 😆
I need to get back to PH asap. Gosh i hope this madness over a flu virus ends soon and life gets back to being fun. Love the video and very helpful
Me too bro me too
High quality as usual...the right questions...very informative answers...Thanks
I went to Cebu for a ceritfication course. I had to get a visa extension because my class was 32 days. My course ended early (28 days). Had I known that before, I wouldn't have gotten my extension
Useful and interesting visa video, thanks Pea. Beautiful scenery too. I love how you got Gracie acting now.
Love the microphone windshield, it matched your top haha! So if I come there and do some kind and generous acts, I had better get a non-tourist visa 😄
Yup, you’re going to need a special visa for that, apparently! How sad
Oh, you thought that was my microphone? Nooo, that was my pet chinchilla, Nips, who lives in my shirt 😆
Great information. I really appreciated this video. Keep up the good work
Thank you for all your advice I really need it🌸🌺
Thanks for posting this. Excellent info. That is a really pretty dress you are wearing in your sign off.
Thanks Shag!
Well, that seems OK?
🎉🎉🎉I think some visa info has changed since this was done…? But anyway really enjoy the facts here… Gracie is so great! Thanks hardworking pea!!!😊
Watched a second time..
Oh my that turned out to be an expensive video :) That made me laugh and I needed a good laugh today so thank you for that.
THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO PEA.
I usually get an entrance/tourist visa stamp as I enter the country. 30 Days is the limit.
I usually only go there for 30 days maximum.
Thanks BigTruck! How long do you usually stay?
You doing a great job by letting us know all these things that are extremely relevant. Thanks Pea, keep it up! hahaha, love the end :)
Thanks Carlos!
Good Job Pea - that was useful information. It is difficult to stay focused when watching 2 pretty Filipinas with long hair chat on the sofa !!! Looking forward to the next one !!!
Sorry for the double-distraction, Doug!! 😆
I also try for visa need more information
Thats OK Pea - No Heart Attack - Yet !!!
A lawyer that is smart and cute as hell sign me up.
Very pleasant conversation to watch... Great job Mrs. Pea -- 2 Thumbs Up!!
So very funny at the end. Ho hope Gracey gets a lot of referral work from these 2 interviews. I would hire her if I was there.
Dear friend this is already the 2nd video of yours I've seen even if I take in account videos about Philippines made by foreigners I would say that your videos are the most helpful I have seen about Philippines and I've seen quite a few.
Not all Filipinas want to leave the Philippines.
REALLY ?? It sure seems 99% would enjoy leaving. The other 1% are either wealthy or happily married in the Philippines.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Mine does and does not
Your an absolute champion pea..love all your work..very funny and informative..just the way I like it..last scene is a ripper..well played once again..very useful information..🏖
I so want to live in the Phil..✈ Australia is really starting to piss me off..
I don’t blame you Thomas! Half of me wants you to stay and fight to change your country back to what it should be, but the other half wants me to tell you “Screw it - get out while you can” 😆
thanks for bringing on a lawyer on!!! there so much unclear information about coming there
Thank you miss Pea. As usual very good content. I love it when you have Gracie on your show.
Two very fine women ❤
I have the SRRVisa = the absolute Best to have for Me as an Early Federal Retired & US Veteran here in the Philippines. Deposit into PNB as a Resident Investment is Great ! You get many other Benefits as Well !! Great Vlog Pea & Wise Lawyer ! Salamat po.
I believe you just answered my question. Please tell me, are you or do you have to be married to get the SRRVisa?
Hi Kevin. I am looking at that too eventually. Do you have to stay retired? Eg later can you start a business or strictly retire?. Of course Filipino Partner could control the business and I just sit back and enjoy what's left of life
@@theodethomasa6358 it says in documents for SRRV "spouse" so you can only have a spouse if legally married. It's a quandary I am in at the moment
gracie is beautiful..wow..she got the whole glasses thing going on...real nice..good video
Excellent content and well executed. Two very funny women that can be serious when it needs to be and make fun of each other to lighten the mood.well done
Thanks Perry! 😊
I’m an American married to a Bicolana and upon my first visit to the Philippines I did not need to purchase any visa and was allowed to stay up to one year.
Thats the privileged given to you by our country which is not the same when we go to america
Thanks so much for this information. Very helpful. And you looking quite lovely as always, Pea.
Thanks, Jeff! I needed that today ....
Another fantastic video baby, informative and funny as always, one question springs to mind is working remotly for my uk job (checking emails contacting staff etc) on a holiday visa classed as earning an income, or is it dependend on the country you are registered for income tax?
I hope Gracey answers that one, it seems a lot of people want to know!
Hello sweetie I watch the ads on every vedio because I know it helps you with the $$$. But the information and content is what helps me out. I been chatting with my gf for 3months , she from outside butuan city province.
THANKS Sean - that really DOES help!!!
good video agin i cant wait to go to the Philippines hoping to retire there
Best reason to retire there: The friendly, good hearted people.
Worst reason to retire there: Greedy, corrupt government that doesn't give a shit about those people.
You do a good job, if more Filipinos were like you your country would no longer be a 3rd world country. Keep it up.
Good info to know, and your guest is gorgeous.
Very informative as usual. Great job well thought out videos and very professional
