But I've a query here.....I didn't notice any provision of aeration here ....be it by air blowers or ozone or any other source.....why is it so? Isn't aeration a major concern in any form of high density aquaculture? Or are u letting in only a sparse density of fingerlings or seeds in ur tanks rite now, and planning to add aerating provisions in a later phase......?

Ramesh Patil Ramesh ji, It depends how much weight you would like to harvest for each fish. For example, if you want to harvest at 1 kg per fish, then you can stock 125 fish. If you want to harvest at 500g, then you can stock 250 fish. In general, 50kg per cubic meter of water if your ras is designed well. If your RAS is designed as per best practice, you can try stocking even more. In RAS, two beneficial bacterias are developed in bio filter. nitrosomonas (for amonia to nitrite) and nitrobacter (for nitrite to nitrate)

How can we identify amonia produced in day (maximum loading), any formula or example, please help.. I heard that first to calculate quantity of protein in feed. Than calculate quantity of total nitrogen that is around 16% of total protein. Take 75% of nitrogen become amonia as it is waste. Please correct me if i am wrong..

You can put 250 fishes in 2500 liter tank...bacteria is developed automatically in biofilter...UV light can be used in biofilter tank
