RAS - Recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) are used for fish production where water exchange is limited and the use of bio filtration is required to reduce ammonia toxicity. Other types of filtration and environmental control are often also necessary to maintain clean water and provide a suitable habitat for fish. The main benefit of RAS is the ability to reduce the need for fresh, clean water while still maintaining a healthy environment for fish. To be operated economically commercial RAS must have high fish stocking densities, and many researchers are currently conducting studies to determine if RAS is a viable form of intensive farming.

This is well presented. But you have left me behind l want to know after you fix the 4 inch pipe does it have holes ? Can you explain further the difference in the use of a six and 4 inches pipe ? If it's possible would you please answer me to my email. Sorry for the inconvenience.

4 inch pipe don't have any holes
Water flow through the top of 4 inch pipe .
6 inch pipe has holes .
We did because to maintain all fish tanks water level (no overflow)..

Bro , l understand at the center of the pond there's one 4 inch hole and when you put the 4 inch pipe is tightly fixed that means the water will only go through after reaching the height of 1.2 m now if you fix the 6 inch with the 4 inch inside how can the fish droppings find the passage ? Sorry for troubling you but l need to understand fully.

You see what brother, from the video you said the sludge will go out through the 4 inch pipe yet it's fixed tight to the elbow down at the bottom centre which it means the only chance for water to go out it's when the water reaches up the height of 1.2 m the overflow controlling holes . Now you are talking of the sludge moving with gravity force does it mean there are two openings on the bottom ? One for 6 inch pipe and another one for a 4 inches pipe ? Please brother help me .

Only holes will be there for 6 inch pipe .
From 6 inch pipe sludge and fecal Matter will flow through top of 4 inch pipe to sump tank

Drum filter depends up on your grow out tank capacity
1/2 hp motor for sprinkler and 1/4 gear motor used
Drum filter cost depends up on capacity of water flow per hour
