I started back up my journaling this year and I learned about myself that doing a daily spread is just not feasible, i actually did pretty good the first half of the year but def was spotty on the second half lol idk why i put so much pressure on myself. my main goal is to remember my feelings and thoughts in the moment, so i’m planning to do a less structured one this coming year. Excited to see how it goes. I’m always inspired by your creativity 😊

Oof yeah I understand that feeling of pressure to daily journal. That's why I technically switched out of a daily journal to a blank one (but so far am daily drawing in it.) That's good you know what your goal is for journaling, I hope your new system is working to support that for you.

Omg you liked Iron Flame more?!? You’re the first person I’ve heard say that lol
I’ve been hearing mixed reviews on A Curse for True Love but I think I’m still going to finish the series since I remember really liking Stephanie Garber’s writing style.
I really liked your spreads! I’ve fallen behind on my planners more than usual so I’m pretty much just waiting for the new year to start fresh again. Last year I wanted to do a book journal but immediately failed. Maybe it’s something I can try to do semi regularly next year and start planning now :)

Haha, my standards for rating books are basically how immersed I got while reading. I had a harder time getting used to FW and the characters, but I really got into IF by the time we were in the heat of battle.
As for ACFTL, I think I liked the second book the best so I would rec you check out the second book. Like I said in the video, I appreciate how fairy tale-like her writing is - and I enjoyed noting all that imagery.
As for planners, it's basically a given we will never actually "keep up" lol. So hoping to finally actually accept that and not let planning and memory keeping become a burden.
