This amp is by design a bit dark and boxy sounding so these Gibson humbuckers is not an ideal choice. You can start by adding an EQ pedal which can clean the sound a lot but truly for a simple rig this amp is transformed with single coil guitars, especially P-90s. And by the way the 8" speaker does not help but all you had to do is show the back, the amp provides 3 outputs for 4, 8 and 16 Ohms respectively which is amazing for such a simple design and at this price. Btw, the combo amp is essentially the same like the head only, just mounted in a cab with n OK but nevertheless small for the job speaker. These combos go for anywhere around $100 - $150 the head only for a little less. They also sound great via their matching cabinet(s) with 12" "Lady Luck" speaker which was a very limited/special design by Eminence (great USA based company) for the Epiphone Valve Juniors.
A good demo with the exception of the choice of guitar as noted in other comments. I'm using an Epiphone ES339 with P90s and presently have this combo in my home studio and love the sounds. When I practice at my band's studio I bring this amp and use a Marshall 4x12 speaker cabinet. I like this tube sound so much I am purchasing the Epiphone Valve Junior head so as to leave it at the rehearsal studio. The interesting thing about these amps with only a volume is that they force you to really hone in your guitar's sounds and also your effects pedals. I've spent hours adjusting my many BOSS, Arion, DOD, etc. pedals with some truly amazing results. When I get the head I probably will start exploring mods and see where that leads. All said, this is a great amplifier choice especially for the money and really forces you to learn your guitar and pedals.
I don't care for this amp. I own one and it sits in the closet. I've tried many pedals, multi fx and can't find a sound I like. It probably needs new tubes, not sure how much that would help. I play a Les Paul and maybe that is why it doesn't sound good, judging from the comments.. I am going to sell it.
High volume, treble pickup. I've played one of these, they rock. You can always add pedals for eq or reverb.

"Pejoratively".
Someone who has a command of English. MOST excellent!
I hate to be that person, but you used two sentence fragments 😂

Great demo.
I wish you would have picked a different guitar for this demo. Black beauty's stock sound extremely boxy and dark
