My Sophie girl passed in June & I was shattered, the entire family was . Then my husband surprised me with a puppy & this lil firecracker has brightened all our lives ,even our nieghborhood loves his personality. To know is to love them so please anyone interested in having this breed PLEASE do your research they are like no other breed as loving & adorable they are they are as equally headstrong.

She's so incredibly precious!!! I just bought my daughter a yorkie a month ago; and we just absolutely fell in love with her. Dina is such a sweet girl, and it's so sweet to see how much she is treasured and loved by her family.
We also have a Yorkie, our first, following 3 consecutive Mini Schnauzers. Have to say we love this wonderful little gem, and she keeps us laughing. Too funny! The “pushing her snoot around the floor like a crazy to dry it” really made me laugh the first time I saw her do it. It is funny, yes, but a Mini Schnauzer does the exact same thing, after a bath, or even after dinner. That amazed me. We love this wonderful little dog!
I was raised with yorkies too. just adopted my mothers 3lb yorkie after she passed this summer. She has been a GREAT joy to me. she will not leave my side. I really want another one. who can not love these dogs?

I've got 2 Dachshunds & had to take in my girlfriend's Chorkie on a "temporary" basis. Miss Fancy Pants routinely squares off with her packsisters & occasionally tries me for the house championship. She's a lot of fun to have around.

Precious! thanks for sharing your video. I just love her little bed. I just got a yorkie 2 days ago after wanting one all my life. I am a Librarian and a young couple with very small children came in. She had followed them about a mile off leash to the library and they'd just left her waiting at the door for them. Our library is next to a highway. This little one weighs 3 lbs and I had my assistant let her come in. I talked to these folks and their mom had given them the dog. I sensed they didn't care much about their fur baby so I took a chance and offered to buy her. I normally wouldn't be so bold but my heart broke thinking about their indifference. Guess what. I was right, they jumped at the cash and now she's mine and safe and in my forever home. This little pups value was to me well worth the 150.00 cash I gave them on the spot for her. Yep you heard me right. 150.00. AND once they'd left with the $ and I had a chance to examine her I realized she wasn't a puppy. She's a teacup yorkie and knowing and loving dogs as I do I could tell she's high quality bred. I'd suspected from the moment I noticed their odd indifference to her safety that this was a dog who'd most likely been stolen. I also found a hot spot on her right shoulder. It's a well healed scar but as I've examined her more closely I suspect whoever stole her in the first place removed a chip because there is a rice size what appears to be incision scare. I'm taking her to the vet this next week and if there is still a chip she'll be reunited with her real family. Of course I'm praying it either isn't a chip removal scar and if it is that the thief actually got the chip out so I can keep her but I will also be checking the papers. I'd never keep stolen property but I'm VERY glad I followed my instincts all the same. Even if I find her real owner I saved her life. Geesh! These folks had a 1200 dollar dog and they jumped at my 150.00 offer. I did have them sign a purchase receipt and if I find out they stole this dog my bestie (chief of police) here where I live will be making a dog theft investigation. But hopefully she's my forever dog now. I LOVE her dearly already. My vet will also most likely know if a yorkie theft has accord but I have a feeling that since the scar on her shoulder is so well healed and old the theft happened at least a year ago. She weighs 3 lbs and is a darling. I think her name will be Meme. Maybe she's God's gift to me or God's intervention to get her back to whoever cried oceans of tears when they lost her. God knows I'll do the right thing for His little fur baby.

Great video. I have a "nephew" that is a yorkie. I never knew how adorable they are. Unfortunately the owner moved away so I havn't seen the little boy for awhile. I miss him. Yorkies are fun and entertaining.
An absolute ideentical twin to my 3.4 pounder except for the precious tail which my Holly had docked before I got her. I've never had a dog like this Yorkie and I love her beyond measure.
Love that Yorkie has it's tail. Shows how cute they are when you don't deform them, so lets not. I love her car too. Where did you get it, & does it come in blue? My Cooper would love that! Do you think a reg sized Yorkie would fit it too? I like that he's not real small, cause we live in the country & he has a dog door & small yard to play in, any smaller & predators would snap him up. He has a 6 foot fence, Then again hawks & eagles don't really care how high it is. Bless the trees. :-}

They are very smart, and can learn to understand an extensive vocabulary. I reward mine when he does his "business" outside with a treat. In fact he lets me know, when he has to go out. Also, they love squeaky toys.
I have a Yorkie two, 2 of them Yorkies Rule! My doggys are 16-15 they are getting older so sad, but I stay home 7-24 and give them all my attention! Always!Love them! I guess you could say we are getting older together!!

Your Yorkie is so cute. I have a Chorkie, Yorkie / Chihuahua. My mom has 2 .Her female that looks a lot like the Yorkie and small like a teacup size. I put on a collar on her yesterday and she flipped out so bad she hid in her crate and wouldn't come out for a long time, and moped around all night as if we did something bad to her. She is still pouting about it today. She wont play or anything. She is hiding on my lap today. They are 16 weeks old. Thanks for sharing your baby!!
Ahh looks exactly like my little Paige. They honestly want to be Beagles (love stinky stuff) and think they are Rottweilers. YTs are the greatest dogs. I can't believe how well behaved our little Paige is. Never chewed on items, no accidents, I could leave a plate of food next to her and unless I say okay she wouldn't touch it. Great little watch dogs. Just wonderful, wonderful babies. Your baby is so adorable - don't you love the Yorkie talk too :-)

She acts just like my Yorkie ,Diamond iam a Yorkie mom also , she brings me so much joy ,and unconditional love,she hates squirrels, she waits for them in my neighbor's tree at my fence and patio.but they messed with her and she know it,then she chases them up the trees.Diamond do the same thing after her bath.between groomer visits.
