OK, I took good notes. I will spend the next 72 months practicing this, and check in on your channel occasionnally since you are such an inspirational teacher. I hope your son is doing well.
Dear Marco, I have never stopped loving my ukuleleS but now I’m really head over heels. These are five mind blowing techniques- I love them all but the last and most challenging one is my favorite. Have yet to try it. No worries about the curl, it’s charming. I have a few stubborn eyebrow hairs that misbehave, so I understand the dilema. This is a super tutorial- one of the best I’ve seen. Efficient and packed with fun, helpful tips. You’re the BEST. 😊 🙏
First of all, you are my go to on all things Uke! You make it all obtainable! Ive been playing for less than a year but you make it easy to play above your level. So thank you!! And i love the travis picking.
Beautiful exercise. I will be working this in. I love your trainings and the way they progress to get more and more difficult until you are forced to keep coming back for more.
I have the same problem with a sticky out tuft of hair. There are only two solutions, grow it long enough to stick down - or cut it much shorter. But this only works till it grows back. But, here's the thing. I didn't notice it at all until you pointed it out... Now I just can't stop looking at it. 😲 Er... what was this video about, again? Oh yes, strumming and plucking techniques. Great stuff!
Hi Marco, this is one of your best videos, you really outdid yourself with this one. I've been learning 4-5 songs since March and I'd like to think that I'm decent now, but with this exercises I'm getting a full use of the keyboard, new fingerpicking patterns, new thumb slap (for me), and the travis technique. Your son should be proud 😄
Oh, it was awesome to see you include Travis picking. I've been listening to and watching about Chet Atkins, and all the players who he inspired, and who do Travis picking. It's fantastic to see it on the Ukulele.
Awesome, Marco! I love using anchor fingers, especially on the ukulele. They slide so nice on the nylon! Thank you for the nudge out of the strumming zone🙂
Thank you so much for a wonderful and effective lesson. I love all of these five picking alternatives.m and can do the first three pretty well. Travis picking is the one I want to learn next. My favorite style of playing , however, is clawhammer.
This was really excellent. I really love your teaching style and your breadth of knowledge. I just wish I had so much more theory in my head. I feel like I'm pushing the rock all the way up a very tall mountain. But I really really enjoy your teaching!
Marco, Thank you for this wonderful practice. I love expanding my alternate chord shapes while practicing right hand techniques at the same time. I have noodled around with limitless variations of this beautiful chord progression.
Great lesson Marco, just what I needed. A short but entertaining little piece that sounds great whilst exercising the fingerstyles, love it, thanks. Btw, I Travis picked this but will try the other methods.
Thanks John. I am glad you like it. I am trying to incorporate things that are quick to practice but can also make great changes in your playing. :) enjoy the video.
As is your way, your explanations of both the left and right hand techniques are easy to understand, yet masterful. Thank you for teaching these chords higher up the fingerboard. I love learning finger style patterns, and I'm especially excited to practice the Alternate Plucking. I'm proficient with the other styles, though still working on my thumb slap...it's tricky!!
I'm glad I saw this as I can't actually strum like normal and I thought I was doing something wrong. Someone noticed when I play that I have the ability when playing low g to hit a bass note when strumming upwards and downwards. I just find a piece of music or song that I like and keep playing it until I'm hitting the right notes. Its a shame that most ukulele clubs near me shut down due to covid.
Ever since I started fingerpicking, strumming has become boring. I still love strumming, but fingerpicking is just so sweet. Thank you for giving me a few more patterns to practice.
Actually, cut that lock off! I have the same from time to time, and reach for the scissors...love your lessons by the way. How about more slapping/tapping technique?
Just watching you has spiced up my ukulele playing (Sorry, but you are so cute, especially your turned up locks!). And I really appreciate your uke techniques.
Great video but it absolutely kills me everytime you start a scale with the root and do not resolve it back to the root. Just keep thinking (automatically imagining the sound) and waiting about how it's gonna get resolved.

Love you forever for your generosity, dear Marco. Thank you…and there was I thinking that all you needed was an an UDDUDuUD !!!!!

Thank you Marco for your Video. I like it when you show the Plucking techniques slowly. I will try the Travis picking.
Beautiful exercise. I will be working this in. I love your trainings and the way they progress to get more and more difficult until you are forced to keep coming back for more.
Thank you so much Marco!! That was extremely helpful. My favorite one was the thumb slap
Ah! I love it too!
Marco, your lessons are becoming easier to follow. Thank you !
The more I hear the ukulele, the more it inspires me. 🤩
THANK YOU! I needed this video!!
Love the moonbird. Mine is a tuned to low G and it sounds fantastic!

Yeah. Try that on steel strings and you get that horrible squeaks! ☀️🎸
Inspirational and challenging and beautiful as always. Thank you so much for enriching our lifes with your music
I love this video! Thank you. Its really great to have a few different techniques in one video.

Sounds great with the baritone 😊
Impressive and very cool, but most were over my head there at this time. But it is something to work for! Thank you

Thanks for the Super Thanks Pete :)

Thanks a lot for your support, Harvey!
This was GREAT!
Marco,
Thank you for this wonderful practice. I love expanding my alternate chord shapes while practicing right hand techniques at the same time. I have noodled around with limitless variations of this beautiful chord progression.
Grazieee 😍 vado subito a fare pratica su questa adorabile sequenza di accordi
Brilliant, thanks Marco
Enjoy the video Peter :)
Great tutorial. Thank you. Love your clear descriptions and videos.
Just wish I could make it look that easy 😂
That moonbird is lovely 😍
I’m just stuck here at the DDUUD on almost every songs. This VDO saves my life. 😂😅😊
another fab tutorial which is well explained and easy to follow. Can see some right hand ache while I get to grips with this one. Fantastic
Great lesson Marco, just what I needed. A short but entertaining little piece that sounds great whilst exercising the fingerstyles, love it, thanks. Btw, I Travis picked this but will try the other methods.

Such a great tutorial. Thanks!
I already learned the Travis chord from you so I like the alternating chords and the thumb slap. Thank you,
I can't wait to get the email with the tabs! Great lesson!
Excellent lesson. My favourite is the 5th option
Thank you! I'm feeling stuck so this is exactly what I need.
Awesome! Also on the baritone...

Thanks a lot for your support Anna!
My favorite technique is by far t&i strumming
I'm glad I saw this as I can't actually strum like normal and I thought I was doing something wrong. Someone noticed when I play that I have the ability when playing low g to hit a bass note when strumming upwards and downwards.
I just find a piece of music or song that I like and keep playing it until I'm hitting the right notes. Its a shame that most ukulele clubs near me shut down due to covid.
Grazie Marco! You inspired me to come back and play my uke again 😀!
Thank you!❤
Love those shapes 👌
Thanks Christina :)
I liked the thumb slap best...But I like anything you do!
Love the sound of your uke. Can you suggest a warm sounding tenor for an intermediate player.? Thanks for sharing your time and talent with us. ❤
Maaaan, you are awesome, thank you for sharing!😊
Thanks a lot for watching 🎸🙏🏻
Ever since I started fingerpicking, strumming has become boring. I still love strumming, but fingerpicking is just so sweet. Thank you for giving me a few more patterns to practice.
The last one sounds like a fragment of a lost Vivaldi ukulele concerto.
Uuh, you are rocking the moonbird now. Thats awesome, congrats! 🍾
would you please please please make a tutorial for pan's labyrinth lullaby?
Another great video ❤
Very nice, and helpful😍. Sorry for my english, i m french 😉
Merci!
Combining the Travis and Tremolo is fun . . . BTW, love the Anuenue!
Nice, very inspirational 😎👍
Great chord progression for finger picking.
Easy enough for a beginner like me.
And your hair looks great. :)
Thank you bro I needed this😂
Is it barinto size?
This is such a productive lesson bro👍👍👍 this cute little instrument actually can create magic 🎶🎼🎵🎸
🤙 Awesome! Thank you very much!
Goodness, that's a remarkably beautiful timbre from that uke. Good instrument aside, what strings are those?
How does your new anuinui compare to your old?
What strings are you using on this ukulele please ?

Ciaoool! 🇮🇹
Helloooo! I'm also playing ukulele in BC! It's nice to see someone local (ish). Stay safe on these snowy roads.
Hi Marco, I can't find the tab on Patreon
Is there a way to comment with a video? Like a clip of my favorite ukulele technique?
Awesome
So far from the start of this. The cowlick looks intentional like an anime hairstyle.
Is that how you call it? Cowlick 😱
@@MarcoCirilloUkulele calflick
That is a great cow lick, keep it!
What ukulele is this? Looks and sounds 🔥🔥
Let's try some Bob Marley. Syncopated rhythms are always fun. 🙂
Ll listen later..gift 🎁 yo Marco ..sunshine in the 🌞 rain is yours melody......
Thanksss
Wow 🤩🙌🙌🎶🎶
Excellent lesson to add to my ‘c’mon practice dummy’ wish list: THANK YOU MARCO ‘ Enjoy Your Day, read John 14 🙏❤️🎯
I agree. And if you don’t sing strumming does get so boring
Thumb slap!
I loveUKu
Do you shape the nails on your right hand?
Great video but it absolutely kills me everytime you start a scale with the root and do not resolve it back to the root. Just keep thinking (automatically imagining the sound) and waiting about how it's gonna get resolved.
If that pattern on the end is simplified tremolo, I don't want to know regular, not simplified 😁
2 years and I can't even hold it right. Wish someone would explain how the thumb strum/picks. They just do it and say "see"
Brill creme!😂
Your hair is oke... but the necklace...arghhh. still love you! ❤️
👍🏼
👍🙏❤️
The number of ads on your videos is ridiculous. "Get rid of poop waste..." I click away when the first ad comes up.
can i call u a genius???
Oooh black strings...
Never stopped loving the ukulele. Weird title.
