These interviews are great! You do a really good job asking questions and keeping the conversation going. Im really enjoying your channel! Keep up the good work!
Yes, these interviews are good. Wide range of backgrounds, financial status, ages, countries of origin and goals. Would be great if you have interviews with older generations - who retire or staying long term in Vietnam in their 40's, 50's, 60's, 70s and 80's.... You will pick up a wider range on audiences.
This is for those considering going to Vietnam to vlog for a living. TH-cam is saturated with so many Vietnam vloggers both native and abroad. And they are mostly the same content. There are many videos of Cho Banh Thanh, pho, Bui Vien, Nguyen Hue, etc. I hope the newcomers have something new or a different angle to show. When I see a suggested video thumbnail of a vlogger in Vietnam and s/he mentions the traffic, pho, Banh Thanh, etc,, I click "not interested" or "do not suggest".
It's true that I can speak and understand Vietnamese, but whenever in Vietnam, they always say my Vietnamese is "lơ lớ". I told them I'm 100% nước mắm (fish sauce) 😂
yo brokethehabit good shit on your consistency of interviews, respect that. david khai my guy, i saw some of your thumbnail videos and im recently subscribed but I had no idea u were doing a moterbike series - i think it'd be better if u have those video openers kinda like what paddy doyle did with his thailand motorbike series, that way i'd be more inclined to tune in every video. peace breh

Keep up the good work! 1) my children are in around same age as David , 2) enjoy what you are doing while you are single, lucky that you David have a plan B to have a family 2 years later....you won't be able to buy a house if you come back to Melbourne 10 years later. The house price will be at least double in 10 years period) 3) I can speak Vietnamese n Chinese, I hope to see you in some China trips, (neu co duyen se gap duoc con...Love fr Australia (will be some short trips to China for an old man like me 😊...)
I have watched and enjoyed David’s content a lot imdeed and I thought the videos with his gf “Wendy” (Wendous?) were very fun and informative. They had some funny moments and lots of giggles and laughter. Vietnam is “THE PLACE” to be. I have been in the SEA region for some years and Vietnam has just certain magic. As a Westerner I will never leave South East Asia, I have no country or family to come back… And I just can’t live in a western country. The Western World is just not for me. I will hit Saigon pretty soon and this time for a while. I will probably die stabbed to death in some alley, in some city of some country in South East Asia. Burn my body and my belongings together and scatter part of my ashes in the Seto Inland Sea and the rest somewhere between the Gulf of Thailand and the South China Sea…
Good advice on not arriving to new countries near midnight - some tips on this, you can setup an eSim that works in multiple locations so you have data as soon as landing. This could allow you to use trusted travel app service or make calls if needed to your hotel. Even better, use a shuttle service from your hotel to be waiting for you if needed. Worst thing that happened to me was leaving an iPad on the plane in Phuket and the air hostess said they couldnt find it when it was simply in the back of the chair. Not a great first impression.
You make many great videos. A lot of people want to see the topics you cover but they don't know you yet. You should make videos about meeting other youtubers like Phuc Map and others so that people know your channel more. You should also go to many different regions and famous tourist destinations in all regions of Vietnam, interview many people. Wish you success.
Wow so inspiring 👏 I recently went to Japan filmed some cute videos and I've been procrastinating and not editing them 😢. How do you find the time to balance work, gym hobbies, socialising and making TH-cam videos 😮 Awsome interview btw 😊
hey, i enjoy your videos and love your plastic spoon mic........i just noticed that on David's left arm has Chinese tottoo say. CHÍNH NGHĨA....Is that his name in Vietnamese????
Personally, after retirement at the age of 61 with a pension of around USD 10k per month before tax, I plan to live in Vietnam for 6 months. Then 3 months in Vegas, 3 months in my hometown in Silicon Valley. Hope that would work out nicely.
Get a dual mic dude , your arm not tired? I GOT TIRED WATCHING U HOLD IT haahahaah. great video! Love David Khai`s contents.. India is crazy, try Egypt also....... I agree on that, safety and goodvbies is so important. Love the honesty of earnings, thats rare on youtube
from what I seen you can get a lot of views for attention grabbing titles like ‘$10 street food challenge in Phuket ” ‘$1 street food phuket night market

Anyone with online work can do it, the Australian lifestyle is long dead, rents are insanely high, property prices are in the millions, cost of living is out of control.
6:00 “I had over 6 figures” that means over 1 million AUD David, how to save a million at such young age? That’s very commendable. 1 million AUD you can live for the rest of your life in Vietnam.
@@MuaBanSieuXe-yb9gj if he made it big in bitcoin then yes. I don’t think just by normal work and savings you can get to over 1 million, maybe yes but very very hard. How do you know for a fact he did it in bitcoin?

David Khai was the first Vietnamese travel vlogger I watched and subscribed, made me love Vietnam more❤
David Khai is the man. Always wanted to know more about him. Thanks for making that happen.
These interviews are great! You do a really good job asking questions and keeping the conversation going. Im really enjoying your channel! Keep up the good work!
Good content, I like your new approach enlarging your circle and your point of view instead of focusing only on yourself and your problems. Good luck.

It's cho ben thanh
U are right. There's only so much content u can do in Vietnam. It's very saturated
Can you recommend some? I only care to watch viet kieu vloggers
Interesting take 🤔
I have been to Vietnam, and tried a different type of Style. Feel free to check it out.

19:00 wow that's a pretty wild first ride in India...great interview!
Now we know why there is such a scam center in India
Hope one day I can sit there, and have a similar interview. 😁
Hey David! Good to see him on here
Bro, great interviews. But you need to get a second mic! Killing me with all the distracting back and forth hand movements. Sorry, man. Lol

Maybe its possible if you are a popular social media influencer but the reality is many would do the opposite to come to Australia from Vietnam.
Anyone with online work can do it, the Australian lifestyle is long dead, rents are insanely high, property prices are in the millions, cost of living is out of control.
His parents helped him get the place
Make sure you don’t regret & come back to Australia to obtain the value of the democratic society has, good luck mate
How did the value of the democratic society in Australia benefit the aboriginies ?

over 6 figures is hundreds of thousands. 7 figures is 1 million
@@blahbkahzok got it but he said “over six figures” so I thought 1 million at least.
I think he meant $100,000AUS not a million
Vancouver is even more expensive than Melbourne
This dude is like the top 1%, outlier, normal people cant accomplish what he did. Who tf can afford a house that young, and have that much money
He’s bs and/or family helping him
The worst thing you can do is to sell your house.
Just my own opinion.
Leave the expensive West. You won't be able to establish a new life if you are young
Why would he need a plan B with over 6 figures savings?
always have a plan B for everything (life advice)
Those Australians and British speak English with a thick heavy accent sound like jungle language .
