I'd like to see a definitive remake of this that takes the best bits of each version: From Zanimation: Keep the Eye shot at the beginning Keep her in-depth story of betrayal and how she became a zombie. Keep the Fluid animations for the chorus section only Keep the shot of her breaking the picture in half Keep the shot of the BF recognizing her and seeing her how she used to be. Keep the multiple cuts back to the guy getting savaged. From Original: Keep the tone and colour scheme of this version Keep the Janky animations that really compliment the creepiness of the zombie for everything but the chorus section. Keep the "strangle" motion and "Swirly eyed confusion" anime expression in. Keep the "Blood Tears" thing. Keep the scene where the guy is smart (and callous) enough to run away after shooting him Keep the scene where she just appears behind him and kills him while he's running Keep the overly gory "blood fountain" death while off screen. Keep the last shot of him becoming a zombie on his eye only, and make it the last shot of the video. This would tie it back to the first shot of the video. New Ideas: Near the end, when she kills him, have the guy rushing off towards a helicopter or a boat, or a plane, or anything that'll take him to safety, to raise the stakes and makes us think he's going to get away with everything he's done, and have her kill him at the last possible second.
i understand this is an old comment but the difference between the original and the zamination version is that the original creator isn't worried about the blood and gore because they don't have to worry about monetization and age restrictions.
Whereas Zamination is more of a kid friendly and bigger channel so they can't add all the 18+ stuff without being demonitized or age restricted because most of their content is more towards the younger demographic
now the original creator could do this but the chances of them actually seeing your comment on this channel is quite unlikely since it's a compilation and a reupload to a degree
Choosing is to hard for me, both have their own unique features, Zam adds more backstory, while the original is able to change expressions perfectly, so yeah, it’s a tie for me, and keep in mind, this is my opinion

after reading through the comments on this, my thoughts are alot different to most of them. yes, zamination has cleaner animation, but the original looks almost grimy, it gives more of a feeling of an apocalypse, whereas the second video at points made me think it just looked like it took place in a normal city. it is good animation, but for the theme it feels too "clean"

The jerkiness kind adds to the whole 'she's a zombie' thing, and her starting to move again after being shot with the convulsions and pain made it more horrifying and sad.
