  • This week we cross into North Carolina and leave the extreme tides of GA/SC behind us. We make it up to Wrightsville Beach where we get stuck for a few weeks.

    Agree on Carolina Beach anchoring. I dragged last time there. 65' mantis that never drags. Safe travels.

      That is the only place I've ever dragged, slipped about 10' which actually saved me from getting hit by the boat anchored in front of me. Safe travels to you as well!

    Great videos and narration, very informative. What is your air draft? bridge clearance?

      We like at least 60' of clearance, we could squeak under 57' if we had to but our VHF antenna would be touching.
