Wouldn't this be considered a Cash Advance on the cards you are using to pay the other cards?
You can only do this with a Mastercard. You cannot do this with a Visa.

What credit card do you use? My understanding is that plastique charges 2.9% and most credit cards don't get you 3%.
The Citi custom cash gets you 5% in one category a month

Shame the huge 2.9% fee makes using this option for getting the minimum spend on reward point sign on bonuses a bit worthless. Some cards are like use $5000 in the first 60 days. 2 mortgage payments would smash that easily, then pay off card instantly. Really wish there was an alternative without the $100+ fees for each use
