Missed out on Kingdom Galvatron. Just couldn’t find him anywhere. Luckily, I found TWO Legacy Galvatrons today at Target. So happy. Thank you Emgo316 for showing me how to transform it correctly without breaking it.
Most of the time, the instructions are confusing.
I remember getting the original Galvatron figure as a kid back in the 80's. Galvatron is a b/a I love this figure

I got the head stuck I’m screwed
Appreciate these videos. First time transforming him back to robot mode. The chest was stuck and I could not get the head out. Felt like it would break pulling it apart. But the video reassured me I was doing it right. I did notice you didn't have it fully in latch. So it was a smooth and easy pull for the vid. Sneaky.
ive got the opperset i cant get the head in to transform him
I can’t get my head to go into the cavity. It stops part way. I think it’s cause of the tab on the back of the neck piece

I decided to search because was having issues on that too... now I see it's a defect on some models :|

I had a heck of a time getting his shoulder pieces to tab into the bottom of his chest plate to complete the transformation
there was a small burr on mine, shave off with a razor/ x-acto knife or use fine -grain sandpaper

I wasn't able to get this guy until the legacy release. He's great. My copy seems to have some fitment issues with the chestplate and arms in alt mode. This video helped me with that.thanks

Had to shave just a very small portion off of the tab behind the neck collar to get the head to fold all the way in.

You are not the only one, the torso tabs were all just a tiny bit too thick
Think I may have to do the same. It's worryingly difficult to fold the head in on mine. I'm terrified something is going to snap, and I've had terrible luck finding a lot of TF stuff around here. I'm not confident I can find a second one of these.
I know BBTS is allowing returns and repreorder for September expected date. I have heard Hasbro is also replacing him. I did another preorder and kept the one I have. Done the trimming and shoulder swap and going to do battle damage removal. Figured if I messed it up another would be on the way later. But so far so good.

No that was an unnecessary feature to the g1 galvatron since he wasn't actually used as a pistol like megatron was in the annimation series.

In transforming him back from gun mode to robot mode the front of the cannon that makes his back won't open and is stuck, how to fix this?

Not one step of transforming him was enjoyable. Blaster mode is nothing special anyhow. Will be staying in robot mode

There is no official pistol mode

I wanted to watch this video because when I bought this figure on Amazon it came with magnus’s instructions and not galvitron’s 🤦♂️
why did the transformation need to be so complicated?
I like more complicated transformation because I don’t get bored
The ingenuity of transformers gets more advanced as they get updated to look more like their animated counter parts and to make them more posable compared to the stiff unposable g1 toys
