I am Indian and I learn Indian Classical Music and it is surprising for me that same classical music is practised in Afghanistan too.. I didn't know..

Ustaadji's Puriya is Great..
It has long historical background India and Afghanistan in classic music. Unfortunately that culture and civilization disappeared, following of Soviet Union collapse more than 2 decades of war and Islamization or radicalisation of Afghanistan had precisely attacks on the culture, art and music's and all credits goes to the sick and savage Taliban. We appreciate all the great master's whom contributed to the classical music, by my self living very long time in Finland and learning from online and wish that I could get some drops of ocean of music. Wish you all the best in your music journey.
Yes, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan have the same Music. The culture is closed to gether.

What a rendition ! This 'Puriya' could easily rank among the bench-mark standards for the Raga.
Bade Ghulam Ali Khan of Afghanistan. Ustd shb should is ranked among the greats like Ustad Amir Khan, Ustad Salamat Ali Khan, Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Ustad Bade Fateh Ali khan.

Ustad Mohammad Hussain Saharang was the disciple of Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan.
He met my father USTAD AZMAT HUSSAIN KHANSAHAB DILRANG in 1954 in Kabul Afghanistan in a big Music cekebration Conference organised by the then King ZAHEER SHAH of Afghanustan to celebrate the Independence day of great Afghanistan.
My father gave a grand Vocal Concert on the occassion. Thousands of leaflets of the Poem of my father Ustad MAIKASH ATRAULVI were distributed in the Afghani audiences and Awaam.
The other artistes from India were Ustad Hafiz Ali Khan, Ustad Ahmedjaan Thirakwa, Smt Hirabai Barodekar and Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khansahab.
I believe you are a bit wrong in that . Ustad Mohamad Husain Sarahang learned music from Ustad Ashoq Ali khan … not Ustad bade Gulam Ali khan …
They wore both great and la jawab singers of patiala gerana ..
Ustad Mohammad Hussain sarahang was deciples of Ustad Ashiq Ali Khan not Bade Qhulam Ali Khan.

He was a shagird of Ustad Ashiq Ali Khan of Patiala Gharana.
Sarahang's forefathers were musicians who had migrated to Kabul from the Punjab in the 19th century.
In his teens, his father sent him to Ashiq Ali Khan to complete his musical training. He spent 16 years under the latter's tutelage in this endeavour.

اگراز جهان واژه ها وکلمات که در ان تحسین وتمجید افاده میگردد در وصف این کلاسیک وهنر نمایی بابای موسیقی استفاده نمایم باز هم مانند ذره در مقابل خورشید خواهد بود. در تقریر وتحریر من از وصف هنر وشخصیت استاد بزرگ عاجز بوده وبه مقام والای ان سر تعطیم فرود می اورم .
خداوند متعال این مرد بزرگ وفخر موسیقی افغانستان را غریق رحمت دریای بیکران کبریایی خود نماید .
در این استیژ وطن تقریبا استاد بزرگ مانند کنسرت ها وفیستوال های موسیقی که در هندوستان برگذار میگردید بطور ازاد خوانده است نه مانند ثبت های کوتاه وقید رسمی تلویزیونی .

Haidar Adina sir, when there is only a few thumbs down like 7, it is usually only by mistake. People are pressing things on their phone and their finger will slip. It is not worth thinking about.
