    Life saver bro.
    Found the info in my manual, bottom of pg 45/top of pg 46. For any Audi owners, if you're able to access your User Manual, check the index/glossary in the back of the manual for "Trunk" and it'll give the pages that give you trunk information. One of those pages should have your emergency/manual release info, unless you have a very expensive or all electric vehicle and they want to get more money out of you lol. Saved me a 300+ dealer trip + tow.

    Thank you so much for this Maurice, all the way from Cape Town SA. Helped me so much when I got back from holiday to find my battery flat and no way to get to it 🙏

    Thank you sooooo very much for making this video. We were so lost and frustrated that we couldn't find out how to get this trunk open. You made my day with this video!

    Yes, it definitely helped and you write it as a flaw, especially on an Audi going through all that at the time they show it in the snow so look what you’re going through in the winter time to get your battery on point thank you for the video

    Thank you very much. Your video saved me. I have a 2012 Audi A4 and a dead battery and didn't know how I was supposed to get in the truck.

    Thank you so much!Took a lot of pulling just to move my seat up like 2 inches, finally was able to find the cable and pull.(Missing some skin on my hands) One other thing, if you can't close your trunk after you have done this, make sure you press the lock unlock on your key fob and your trunk will close

    Thank you for the vid, saved me. Just advice for those doing it. Don't just yank the seat, there are clips that need to be pressed in so it will release.

    Good lord, i'm in South Africa and i have a 2014, A4 TDI, I've been in this situation and was wondering how to access the boot, the only way was to jump the car from the from the front +- ports or poles. So as to get a little Power to open the trunk. This is the best way if the battery is absolutely dead. Thank you Sir. 🙏🏽

    • @MaurincePierreorlandorealtor
      @MaurincePierreorlandorealtor  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s another way to do it also, but if no juice then the back seat is the way to go…

    Don't need to go through all that, there's a power supply in the front under the hood by the windshield,to jump start the car..👍

    And then you break the plastic clips holding the seat in place. Well done Audi. Couldn't do a normal pull cord... Or an access hole like most normal manufacturers...

    If you don’t have the wire that pulls the trunk?

    • @MaurincePierreorlandorealtor
      @MaurincePierreorlandorealtor  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure how the other models work but the 2011 has the wire. I can imagine not having a device to help open the trunk.

    • @kga1196
      @kga1196 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have a 2011 A4 B8 then it does. They're held in by some tension, so you'll hear them 'pop' when you pull on the seat far enough. Couldn't tell you if you don't have the same model though.

    • @MaurincePierreorlandorealtor
      @MaurincePierreorlandorealtor  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I found that the first time I located the cord it was a bit tough, but pulling hard and at angle did the trick for me.

    • @kga1196
      @kga1196 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Just had to do it, don't freak out when a little of the rubber tubing comes with. Thought I fucked it but I pulled a bit more (at an angle, towards the passenger -front seat sort of) and it popped open.
