I understand that it's not unique to the funky pop-y genres you hear today with the bass and guitar emphasis...HOWEVER, in 2015, kpop hadn't ventured into vintage sounds that much at ALL. 2015 was a year for aesthetics and a lot of big beats. I remember specifically for this comeback I was truly shocked and really impressed at the direction SM were taking. It's less memorable now because so many more artists are doing the same.

You should listen to EXO - eldorado (in tokyo dome). Honestly, its masterpiece though. Hundred percent recommend! At first i though its just "nothing special". After listen to it, guess what... its like drug song. So nice. And im pretty sure they sing live. Try it if you dont want to left any masterpiece song 😊

what I appreciate most about this channel is that they don't stick to just few groups and what groups they're comfortable with. and also that they are stating their honest opinions. I would ask them to not feel pressured about complimenting the song they're reacting to like they seem to be doing for this song, just a bit though. they were still honest. I just wanted to say it. It'd feel the same with my bias group's song too. It's refreshing to hear different opinions from people who are knowledgeable about the topic they're reacting to. peace :)

Aw man, I dunno if it's because I'm not watching every single reaction, but I feel like these guys aren't as blown away by what they're hearing as they used to be. Then again I'm trash for trashy dance music, so I'm biased towards easier listens oops 😅
It's interesting though, because I remember MRJKpop (rip his channel I still miss it) reacted to this song and absolutely loved it, and he's more of a pop music producer, so it's cool to see how his opinion differs from that of classically trained musicians. He also reacted to it right when it came out, so its sound was a lot newer and more impressive compared to now, when so many groups have taken up the funky pop sound.
ALSO for non-title EXO tracks, I've got faves from each album so brace yourself (if you're still reading):
Mama: the only non-title track that stood out for me was Machine
Growl: this was one of their best albums imo I love most of it, but if I had to choose: Baby Don't Cry, Black Pearl, Heart Attack, Peter Pan, and My Lady
Miracles in December: My Turn to Cry
Overdose: my fave mini album, but my fave tracks would be Moonlight, Thunder, and Love Love Love (casually lists half the album)
Exodus: Exodus, Hurt, Lady Luck, Beautiful
Lotto: Artificial Love, Heaven, White Noise, They Never Know
Honestly, EXO has the best non-title tracks out of the groups that I personally listen to. So many of them could be promo singles, and a lot of those would've been better promo singles that some of the ones that were actually chosen (looking at you, Wolf and Lotto rip)

I agree with you. I feel they aren’t being objective and open. I have since unsubscribed. Also didn’t like them calling EXO music trashy pop songs. If it were so, then many groups have trashy pop sounds as well isn’t it? Very disappointed in this channel. I think people should learn to respect EXO for where they are heading musically back then since this was from 2015 and not 2022.

Finally get to wholeheartedly catching up with this channel. 2019, pardon me for being super late but you guys do a very great job. I'm not a musician but it's just fun watching you guys reacting and giving your 2 cents about Kpop songs. At some point I also get to understand more about the song and listen to them beyond what I did before (listening, dancing, and basically just fangirling over the song). I'm really glad that there's such channel for kpop industry. It gives us basic fangirls deeper comprehension about the musics our favorite groups deliver. You guys did well and I hope all of you are in good health.

Love Me Right (to me) seems like a brighter, more fun (funner?) song that's good to just dance to, not so much the epicness of Mama or the darkness of Monster. It's a nice song, true not with the most stand out parts to it, but it does what it does very well. It's just a nice song that's got "youthful happiness" to it.
i'd love if they reacted to ioi's downpour! ^^ they could also see produce 101 season 2's live stage where they covered downpour -- both versions showcase really nice vocals, and it'd be cool if they could see both a female and male version of the song

idk about musically complex I can't really music that deep, but please react to f(x) pink tape album because that album is gold and underrated.
I need to research more on Exo, I always listen to their title songs but I never know how many members they have because of comments like "last time I was this early, Exo still had 12 members".
They have 9 now but they initially had 12 members but 3 members from exo-m(Chinese) unit left for their own reasons. Hope this helps!~

Jelly Jams try the EXODUS album bc it's Bomb. especially Playboy and Eldorado will hook you in. The other songs like transformer and EXODUS are good as well. and white noise and One and Only from exact are really good songs

The thing with this song though is that you don't get to enjoy this fully if you don't watch it live (the choreography is wonderful as usual). The members just perform this with such happiness and that's what makes this song memorable in my opinion.
ALSO, I know everyone's talking about it in the other comments but YOU GUYS HAVE TO DO EL DORADO. Preferably the Tokyo Dome performance. (Bad songs by EXO simply don't exist especially if we're talking about the albums EXODUS and EX'Act)
