- In this episode I give a run down on my new Titanium Hardcore ATX Caravan. I purchased second hand in Victoria. It’s a 19.6 in length, 2 Berth, Rear Door, Off Road / Grid Van set up. It’s packed with heaps of great features that will enable me to hit some awesome spots around the Country with comfort and style.

Hey there. I just purchased a cheap label maker from Woolworths. Printed them off small and stuck them on. Simple. Safe travels
Just came across this video, and the van looks great - BUT I'm concerned you have not calculated your weights correctly at all. The weight of 3220 that you got is the GTM which is the van weight at the wheels only and doesn't include the towball weight (TBM) which you have to include in the ATM calculation and certainly need to include when checking against your max towing weight, which is also 3500kg for a 200 series. Going off the 'average' TBM being 10% of the overall van weight, you need to add 320kg to your calculation (or measure the TBM accurately) - using the 10% figure you are already over ATM and your legal towing capacity by 40kg (3220 + 320 = 3540). You definitely don't have the 280kg payload left that you state you have.....
Hi mate. Yep. You are right. I realized this after the fact. I did weigh my TBW and it was 220 kgs. I do have a GVM on my car to 3800 kg and also a towing capacity upgrade to 4000 kg. I have a GCM upgrade of 7800 kg. But my ATM on the van is very tight and the issue. A lot of these off road vans don’t have enough payload available. I might do an updated video soon. @@searching4adventure no problem. 220kg is a good ball weight (one of the reasons we're going tandem axle as well is their 'generally' lighter ball weights compared to the larger single axle vans).

Yep, you're gonna need more solar....lol. We've got 1300watts and its almost not enough, especially if you want to run AC for several hours and cook with as much power stuff...induction plate, air fryer etc....

Well done on the van look cool just a quick question if you’re gvm is 3800kg your gcm should be 7300 kg not 7800kg otherwise keep up the videos on the van cheers Glenn
Hi mate. I was waiting for someone to ask that the minute I wrote that on the screen. My 200 has a pre rego QLD compliant towing upgrade to 4,000 kgs. GVM upgrade to 3800 kgs With a GCM also increase to 7800kgs. I have an approved QLD blue plate. Thanks for watching. Cheers.

I have the same problem with my grey tank level sensor. Scum builds up which makes in operative.
