Thank you for sharing. My wife (fiance at the time) and I were there about 10 years ago. This brought back so many wonderful memories. Although, I think you saw more of the castle then us. My mind raced with thoughts of how it would have been to live in the castle. When we where there, there was a boy about 7 or 8 with a wooden sword. He was running around slaying imaginary knights. What a great place for young and old to use there imagination to think about medieval times. We wish to go back to the Rhine someday
What a fun memory. Thanks for sharing that. Yes, my imagination runs wild also when visiting places such as this. On the day we visited we had no other immediate itineraries to do in a set time, so we had much time to just stroll as much as possible & see more here.
Very nice. loved the slide photos, it makes people think of what it would be like to walk and live there ( it makes me think that ). the first time that I went to Austria, the wife and I had taken the subway to the ringstrasse and there was this guy who kept looking at us so I said to the man '' do you have a problem '' he said no I don't, it's just that you two are talking in English, where are you from he said and I said to him Los Angeles. He lived on the same street that we did, small world. he had moved to Austria and had been there for 13 years at that time, must be 20 years by now. is it that easy to up and move? thought I would share that story with you two..
Ha, ha, yes it is a small world, Ivan. I think something similar happened to us once (not the same street but same neighborhood in general). Really appreciate your nice comments - Yes, we watch the You Tube videos through our HD big screen TV and they look excellent, with the still photos really having a major impact on there as well, along with the HD video portion. I definitely have some more Germany videos coming up, the charming town of Bacharach, as well as larger Koblenz. They are basically ready to go as I speak but I wanted to pace myself...so they will be up this coming week for sure.
Molto bello interessante strategico
Thank you !
