Whos gonna get a 40lb carp and just bang it in the water? All fish get stressed when moving lakes, it isn't nice but you gotta check them over, get photos, document them, care for them.
@@FraserMartin-kw1kw Totaly understand that , as i have done it a few times .They come off the van weighed photo both side then into lake if you want to hold it there a bit up to you .But not let them recover to take back out for more photos .Hope this helps you ..
I get that mate. Delivered fish for a while myself. All depends how stressed they are when they first come off the van. Sometimes they need more time before they let you get photos. There's no right or wrong about it. Just feels a bit unfair to give em stick when wasn't there. It's a cracking fish and I'd wanna savour the moment of adding it to a lake as well. You need to understand what is best in the moment and sometimes that's let it recover before handling it more...hope this helps
That looks like a strong old girl she's a beaut lads. Might have to venture down to Essex next year
There’s one in the Fennes and another in Earls Colne lake
Amazing fish! Always stressful moving them to a new home. Nice to see some care and treatment. Great catch by the way!!!
Wow! That’s an awesome specimen

£30 for a days fishing??
£30 for 24hrs. A day ticket is £15
@knightsfishing not sure that's what the website says
30 a night 15 a day is pretty standard
Where you fishin for less than that? Caravan parks with lake records of a 4lb bream?
Depends what swim you pick. Double swims, for 2 anglers, would be £30. One angler on a single swim is £15 a day ticket bud.
