I met Rob at Wimbledon last year and he was the nicest bloke you could ever meet. I didn’t want to go over and smother him but he saw me looking and smiled so I went over, took a photo, he asked what I did and then we spoke about life in general for a good 10 minutes. Top fella!
I've watched every single season of WILTY over the past few weeks because I've been super sick and it's the only thing that's made me laugh along with these podcasts so to see this is incredible your truly moving up with these guest's I can't wait to see who's next!
Saw Rob Brydon at a golf driving range in Chiswick many years back… I told him that I was sorry to disturb him, but wanted to tell him that I thought he was fantastic in Gavin & Stacey, and always made me laugh. He shook my by the hand and thanked me several times, before we went back to the golf. A true gentleman.
@@stradivarius151 I think it might have been - it was years and years ago so I don’t remember, but it definitely had a 9 hole, par 3 course, so it may well have been!
The best version is when Jason Manford was on WILTY and had to say he gave up his man stuck in his mouth impersonation after he heard Rob's impersonation.
Have'nt heard that one, will look out for it when I've watched this. Thank you for telling us who have'nt seen it. Love Rob, he is my favourite Welshman.
@Nick It makes me question whether it's an attention thing - possibly subconscious - and any attention, good or bad is welcome. "X [major name] is soo underrated", "why's nobody talking about X?" (everyone in the comments is talking about X already), blindingly obvious observation about the video, populist comment phrased as if it's an unpopular opinion and they're taking a risk stating it - I'm sure there are tons of other examples that haven't come to mind whilst typing. Odd behaviour from the social media generation(s).
I get where they were coming from there when it comes to hearing your own voice. I did a video last weekend of my Great Grandaughter now she has started to sit up and stand at age of 1, I was talking to my son on the video and it did'nt sound anything like me or as I imagined. I sounded about 90, yet am only in my 60s. I don't think I sound old when talking, well, did'nt until I heard myself and was horrified. Can't imagine how I sound to others listening to me? By the way, this is a great video, love Rob and new to you guys, will definitely tune in again.
I would believe he would come on the Pod as he is such a nice genuine person and not full of himself like most celebrities nowadays, especially the lefty woke's like Linekar who thinks he's better than anyone else. Unlike Rob, Linekar has no talent, Rob had it by the well full to over brimming. I could watch Rob all day. Another guest you should have on who is regular on Rob's show is Bob Mortimer, he has me literally crying with laughter on WILTY.
When Rob became Ken Bruce......it was uncanny. Radio 2 became the centre of everything for a couple of hours. People were ringing up saying "Has Ken dropped acid?"
Sometimes impressions are done on the basis of attitude and intensity rather than accuracy. Although the more accurate the better, but the looser ones can still be quite funny.
Was Jack's Michael Caine impressions really THAT bad?! 🇳🇺
Totally
It was so good Rob was worried…
@@jaack poetry in motion
4/10. Maybe 3 🤷 either way. It was wank

Perhaps Rob knows the value of his fan base.
Sycophantic laughter is great on this. Top level.

nice; these kind of stories always tell us so much more about someone than the sanitised BS pumped out by the PR guys; thanks for sharing

@@raykwon7 YOU MEET ROB BRYDON... AT THE TASKMASTER HOUSE (almost).
(a quick Google revealed no other 9 hole par 3 courses in Chiswick).
No one can beat Greg Davies chris uebank impression

Rob's ultimate best impersonation is the little voice in a box it's amazing.
If you've never seen him do it TH-cam it
Was gutted that wasn't brought up 😅

Is one of spotifys biggest podcasts considered underrated?
Too bad their audio is waaaaaaay below standard

Rob brydon is so likable even when he was winding the guy up he knew he was doing it with no malice , he is a humble guy
"A horrible combination of a lot of confidence and very little ability" - I will use this as much as I can from now on

The Ronnie Corbett is legendary!
I love how much Rob shat on Jack's impressions 😂

Jacks stewie impression at the end was a 10/10 👏🔥
Who remembers him on the old Top Gear? Those segments were hilarious.
His man in a box impression beats everything
'Do you want a Chris Tarrant?'
There's something so tragic about that question 😂
Jealous?
by far this is the guest im the most impressed by too man i love wilty so much i cant believe you got a national treasure on the pod omg

That Michael Caine impression was outstanding 🤣👏
Rob is a lovely man. Great guest.
10:00 I didn't expect that! Especially Shaggy lol
Gotta get Greg Davies on, he does a far better Chis Eubank
Ffs😂
Robs criticism of the Michael Caine impressination had me in bits 😂😂😂
Rob is the funniest man on tv at the moment . Love him ❤
what a guy
Here’s the goat 🐐
NOWAY YOU GOT ROB BRYDON ON IT
By far his best impersonation was his "Radio 2 Ken Bruce Popmaster" show from several years ago. He had the whole country hooked with it.!!
Never knew how spot on his ronnie corbet was!
Along with Deborah Meaden, Rob has been my favourite ever guest!
I've always laughed at his David impression, Am I poshed and repressed or repressed and Posh, As he said in WILTY 🤣
Would I lie to you..,,greatest British TV show of all time with no close second
I literally spat out my coffee at 6:00 when Brydon described the other guy's impression. Now I have to clean my laptop !!
Rob's always been a class comedian.
My god his Gary Barlow was such a good Ringo Star impression 😂
A lot of confidence and very little ability......HAHAHAHAHA. Gold!
I can't believe you got him on 😂😂😂
Rob Brydon could do identity fraud with these voices 😂😂
He did a whole radio 2 show as Ken Bruce(think it was for comic relief).
Wow another amazing guest. Awesome!
Favourite guest so far!!!
I love Rob Brydon, I could listen to him talk for hours
I love Rob Brydon!! Thanks for having him on. Please invite Tim Key to be on the podcast 🙏
Rob is officially a National Treasure.

Really could've done without hearing that brief little Johnny Knoxville anecdote at the end there 😂
That ronnie corbett was spot on 👌👌👌
Crikey, I can't believe that I missed this one. I love Rob . . . such a funny guy.
Jack's Stewie is excellent!
Would I lie to you is the most comforting show
Rob’s Chris Eubanks impression is second only to Greg Davies. 😂
The eubank one sounds like Rob brydon doing an impression of eubank,Ronnie Corbett was spot on
That Stewie impression was amazing
All legends! In the room
His Michael Caine is brilliant
Such a class guest to get
The “no words eubank” is the most accurate
🤣🤣 love the guests recently big up rob.. legend!!
Rob's Michael Caine is fantastic.
You do get some random and brilliant guests. FairPlay!!
The David Mitchell one was actually accurate 😂
His Micheal Caine was amazing
Absolute LEGEND
What a guest to get! True legend
Sometimes impressions are done on the basis of attitude and intensity rather than accuracy. Although the more accurate the better, but the looser ones can still be quite funny.
His Caine and Corbett obviously brilliant but loved his Gary Barlow too. Watch his Mick Jagger ‘Zulu’ impression on Graham Norton, so very good👌🏻
That one is absolutely hilarious 😂 I don't know how many times I've watched it 😂
He does a brilliant A. P McCoy
What happened during the fishing incident?
What a man.
Talk about stepping it up guest wise
Based on his attempt at David Beckham, he could probably do a very good Harry Redknapp.
His Ronnie Corbett will never be surpassed!
Rob’s Michael Caine impression is spot on. Unbelievable. Rob is a legend
There's a clip of him on Norton doing a anecdote of Mick Jagger being Michael Caine in Zulu, so you get two voices for the price of one. Funny skit.😊
Rob Brydon is hilarious
6:47 sounds like the Wealdstone Raider 😂
So good ❤
Massive fan of Rob's, a class act.
very good show
He was class
Jack, have u got worms? why ya keep lifting yaself out ya seat HAHAHAHA
Rob is the best! He should get together with Julia again, and do another "Human remains"! That show was so good!
Love Brydon.
What a guy! 🙏
Man all the WILTY people are so hilarious
His best one is of a bloke with a receding hairline that suddenly disappears and he has a perfect one just like that 😂
2:57 he didn't want to do an impression of Obama but did it anyway... haha.
Obama is a leftist, so that’s ok.
❤ your work, Rob Brydon 👏 😊
