I’ve been impressed with Jackson’s during this swatching series. Thanks for sharing this.

Burnt Sienna is my palette must-have. I use Daniel Smith paints exclusively and love the granulation. (I'm in Portland, Oregon)

I’ve been using WNC because of the cost and availability. I’m quite taken the Jackson’s. Thanks for doing these swatching videos, I have been keeping a list of all my favourites. Cheers, Lisa

I have struggled with getting the pigment load I want painting animals with Cotman. It helps me see that the more expensive paint is better value for money.

Love this comparison! Burnt sienna is absolutely beautiful and one of my all time favorites. Great work horse pigment, especially when mixed with Ultramarine for shadows. Replaces red on my palette for those fall scenes. Love this upload Lois.

I love this series, thank you! I’m not a fan of Burnt Sienna and I prefer the PR101 versions. However, the W&N one is on my main palette as it mixes so well with their French Ultramarine.

They are all beautiful but then I haven’t seen a burnt sienna I didn’t like. I have the W&N in my palette. Thanks for these comparisons!
